“Amazing room for the price!”

The room was more then expected! The price was great and the room was amazing. Walked in to a living room with a huge tv and office area with a fridge and microwave and counter space. Walked through the double doors to the bedroom and bathroom and another huge tv! What a view of the city too. The hotel was perfict and was just a short walk to Nationwide Arena and the arena district. Parking wasn't too bad considering you can come and go as you please but you have to pay at check out. I look forward to comeing back down from Michigan and staying here again.

Travelling from New York on business, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to receive a freshly-warmed chocolate chip cookie upon checking in. Only in Ohio! It made my stay all the more memorable and personable. The wonderful hotel staff were helpful in providing extra toiletries that I had forgotten to bring or had to discard at the airport security check. The suite was large, quiet, and comfortable. Would definately recommend.

I was at your hotel a couple of years ago and had a really bad experience. The bathtub drain was clogged, room smelled like mildew and housekeeping service was slow. Even offered a free night's stay after my complaint I hadn't taken that up and was determined not to come back again to this hotel. However, due to an emergency, I unexpectedly stayed longer in Columbus. On a stretched budget, I took a chance to book thru Expedia's mystery hotel special 40% off regular rate. It will not disclose hotel name until after payment. I wasn't pleased that it turned out to be Doubletree. This time, I was pleasantly surprised. The room is clean and staff is courteous, extremely helpful, from the lobby check in to maids cleaning rooms to housekeeping(quick response for extra blanket). The water pressure was good and no clogs on the bathub! Free wifi because I did stay at other Hilton hotels so extra costs are minimum(only parking fees). I especially wanted to commend Amanda at the Lobby front desk. I had to extend another night's stay and she left a note to make sure the transition was smooth because she would have ended her shift by the time I moved the next day. I don't mind the extra night being at a higher rate or that my daughter and I had to move to another room. It was arranged on the same floor so it saved us a lot of hassle and making the move easy. I am planning to visit Columbus again in a few weeks' time and I will defintiely be staying at your hotel in future visits.

“Overall REALLY nice! But need better parking”

Nice people, nice hotel. i wish parking was easier and/or cheaper. There is a ramp next door that we used that isn't manned at all hours so we got away with paying a whole lot less for parking.

Room service needs to include napkins and the proper utensils when they serve food.
