Father died and we were attending the funeral.
The hotel offered 30,000 Hilton Honors points for our stay. We asked for our money back. They refused. 30,000 points will not pay for two free nights or our money back, which is fair compensation for the horror we experienced.
The night staff, after check-in, were absent. So, we could not request to change rooms.
The carpet was wet and there were no hangers in the closet. There were bloodstained curtains, a paint stained bath floor mat, hair in one bed, dirty covers on the other, red and yellow stains on the floors and counters (I tried my best to clean the bathroom myself), hair in the freezer, sticky and oily cabinet/fridge handles with food remnants, trash, hair and used supplies in the vanity drawers and room drawers, dirty phones, dirty vanity sink, dirty toilet along with dirty walls and doors with dark brown marks. At one point, I wondered if room 406 was a previous crime scene! The house keeping staff did not do a good job. They didn't even include shampoo, body wash or extra trash bags. I included photos for corporate's review and confirmation. They saw it all.
The breakfast staff was nice, but the food and supplies were subpar.
Only one elevator and one ice machine worked in the entire facility. We could hear the people in the adjacent suite, nightly.
Do not stay here. Even corporate customer service doesn't care. Go to Hampton Inn for the satisfaction guarantee.
We've never had a horror like this in our lives.
