“its a great place right next to the base”

This hotel is right off 77hwy by the Fort Jackson army base. It was easy to get on and off base fast from this hotel. It has a kitchen which a Great ammenitiy! i would suggest this hotel to anyone that asked. Its a safe place also with a lot of military people, friends and family of military staying there too.

For the price and the ammenties this is the best place to stay. You have the option to cook for yourself or go to the several resturants and fast food places within walking distance of the hotel. Walmart is within walking distance for your grocery needs.

“OK Review”

I reserved two rooms. One was for two nights and the second for one night. The two night reservation was on the 3rd floor and the one night was on the first floor. Both rooms were available for both nights. The hotel personnel could not switch the rooms and put the two night stay on the first floor and the one night stay on the third floor. They had to contact Expedia. They only did that when my wife said that she would have to sleep in the car because she could not climb the stairs to the 3rd floor. We do not understand why the desk clerk could not have given us the first floor and the one night stay the 3rd floor without contacting Expedia.

“Great Value!”

I stayed at this hotel for a week for my fiances Fort Jackson Graduation. It was very close to the base; less than a minute away! It has a mini kitchen, which is very nice. The one thing it didn't have was a blow dryer. So, remember to pack one ;) Overall, it was a nice hotel especially for the price! I definitely recommend this hotel!

FOR ANYONE TRAVELING TO COLUMBIA FOR GRADUATION AT FORT JACKSON...THIS HOTEL IS CLOSE AND VERY CONVENIENT TO THE BASE. I WAS ABLE TO HEAR THE BUGLES IN THE A.M. AND P.M. FROM MY ROOM THATS HOW CLOSE WE WERE!! ... ;)

“Will use this hotel again.”

Although the hotel was hard to find with a GPS, it was reasonably priced & clean. There were some male group gathered in back of hotel, but noloud noise or roughness. Clean & good emenities in the room. We will be back. WE have relatives in the Columbia area & visit often. Thanks forr a good stay!

“Closest efficiencies to Ft. Jackson”

It wasn't the best; it wasn't the worst. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was actually surprising with a full refrigerator, 2 burner stove, microwave, sink and drainer, coffee maker, and limited dishes/utensils. We were able to use a grill out in the parking lot so a full-course meal was provided to my daughter graduating from Boot Camp. Very nice to be able to give her home-cooking! Room did smell as though there were animals in it beforehand but not an "issue" for us. Also, right near lots of stores for all needed forgotten "stuff".

“look elsewhere”

this is a bare bones hotel in the vein of a Motel 6 except it has a small "kitchen" with an apartment size refrigerator, a small kitchen sink and a small microwave oven. There are NO ammenities, such as shampoo or hand lotion and the TV is VERY small (19") and NOT HD. The hotel is also VERY hard top find. Google maps the motel about 1/2 mile from it's actual location and there are no signs on the street indicating where the motel is. You cannot see the motel from the nearest street because it is behind some large retail stores (Sam's Club, etc.).
