“Nice Hotel”
Our stay was only one night. The room was very clean and neat, staff was very friendly.location was perfect close to the malls,I would use this hotel on my next stay in this area.
“It was OK”
The hotel was very old and in need of serious repair. The continental breakfast lead a lot to be desired and both choices of cereal were stale. All that being said the hotel was OK for what we needed, which was to be very near Ft. Jackson for our son's graduation.
“Fresh air please”
make sure the room has been thorughly aired out before you accept
“Too noisy”
The staff was friendly, but this hotel was in a very noisy location. We were in Columbia for our daughters graduation from basic training so we had some early mornings. Every single noise came through the door, keeping us up till well into the night. Also, we had no internet for half our stay, which the manager refused to do anything about.
“Need a nice hotel, keep looking!”
The staff apparently smoked in our room while cleaning because although there was a smell of smoke all the time, even though we requested a NON smoking room, it was worse in the afternoon after the cleaning staff had been there. it smelled as though they had smoked the entire time they were cleaning and had the door closed. It got so bad we had to request a different room, I couldn't even breathe right, it was so bad! There was no computer, well there was a computer but it looked to be about 20 15 years old and didn't work and there was no internet as the ad said. It also said it had HBO with an HBO Guide in the room, but NO HBO...it was just an all round bad experience.
