“Great hotel for business (or family) stays!”

I spent the night at the Double Tree while in town for a Rotary event. The room was quite comfortable. The beds were very nice. The bath towels were wonderful - not the average, mid-sized towels, but large, thick bath blankets. The television took some figuring out with the channels, but I eventually found the basketball games!

“Excellent choice for downtown Jeff City”

This is an old hotel, recently renovated. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Garage parking is free, conveniently located underneath the hotel. I did not eat at the restaurant (on top), but was told it was excellent. The hotel is located in downtown Jefferson City, within easy walking distance of the state Capitol and many other state office buildings.

“5 star hotel at a 3 star price!!!”

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room (IMMACULATE!), the pool area, the comfort of the bed and the customer service. One of the employees (Chuck) went out of his way to offer help. I didn't even have to find the ice maker on my own--he offered to hold the elevator after he took me to the nearest floor (the ice machines are on the even numbered floors, the soda machines on the odds). My son and I had the indoor pool and hot tub to ourselves on a Saturday night, and Chuck stopped in to make sure the hot tub was working well for us. We didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant (which takes up the top floor and looks out over the city) but the menu looked great and the view must be awesome. I liked that the hotel was within walking distance of the capitol building and lots of restaurants and shops. I will definitely be back!

“LOVE this hotel! It is the best!”

I have stayed here many times and every time has been wonderful. This last visit was what impressed me the most besides the hotel and rooms being so nice and comfortable. I love the beds and everything is so clean and nice. It was the staff that went above and beyond this time for me. I discovered I had a flat while parked in the garage. The maintenance guy (Chad) had already noticed it and left me a note on my car. I went to the front desk where they proceeded to look up tire places and also Chad offered to drive home and get his air tank to air up my tire to see the problem, take me to the tire place if needed! What service! The staff and Chad went above and beyond to take care of me and make sure I was well taken care of and do what they could. I highly recommend this hotel! You cannot find a nicer staff nor find a nicer hotel!!

“Nice Hotel in middle of Jeff City”

Service and food was excellent. Rooms were clean. Price was not unreasonablle. Only complaint was that they didnt have enough parking.

“Great spot in a great town!”

Jefferson city is renown for its history and architecture. It was our first visit and were very impressed with both the town and the Doubletree Hotel. All things were fantastic, including the breakfast in their restaurant atop the hotel. Amazing views of the city. Definitely would recommend.

“Don't Pass This Hotel By”

Eventhough this hotel was an "old" Holiday Inn, the renovations and upgrades made this a 5 star stay. Restaurant was fantastic. Personnel were fabulous. Room competes with a Ritz Carlton any day. Pool great. One of the best travel experiences we've had in quite a while. Don't let the downtown location fool you. Your view of the capitol building and surrounding scenery was great. Ask for a room on a high floor 8 or higher. I don't travel to MIssouri but every three years. I guarantee you if I have to stay overnight again, it will be at this hotel. No exceptions.

Great place to stay--excellent rooms (beds are very comfortable), food and wonderful staff. We will be back the next time we visit Jefferson City.

the hotel looks somewhat dated from the outside. But, the inside is very nice and the staff is the friendliest I have encountered in a long time. The food is very good and the workout room is top notch. absolutely worth the price.
