“Would definitely stay there again!”

Hotel was not far from Columbia Airport. Clean, friendly staff. Many things to do in the area. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again if traveling to Columbia, SC.

“Dissappointed”

This hotel only services your room weekly. There is no breakfast service of any description. The pillows were a joke. But it was clean, and in a good location.

“Will Stay at Candlewood Suites Again!!!”

Upon arrival checking in was a breeze. Everything went as expected. I had no problems at all. Hotel just 2 exits away from Fort Jackson base off I-77. Roughly about a 10-15 min drive depending on traffic . Gas station next door. You can always get gas before heading on the road. For all those families who are planning to attend FORT JACKSON BCT GRADUATION this hotel is at a great location. Walmart super center about 2-3 mins away from hotel and fast food restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and you definitely will. Had absolutely no problems checking in my guest that accompanied me hotel. When I checked in before my guest I was given a second key fir my gues with mine. Excellent service!!!! Recommend it!!!

The hotel was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen in the room was nice. The hotel was a perfect distance from the army base near by.. Overall it was a great stay!

“A great hotel”

I was the first time I stayed at this name brand hotel. I was impressed with the quality and the set up in the room, very spacious, clean and great service. I have a nother trip planned to the area and I am planning to stay again on this hotel

“Very impressed!”

Hotel staff was very pleasant and room was amazing. Very spacious and clean. The full kitchenette was stocked to meet our every need. It was a wonderful stay - we actually added a 3rd night because we enjoyed it so much.

Area recommendations

We spent most of our time at the Ft Jackson Army base due to my daughter graduating basic training.

“Friendly Service, Clean Room, Nice Stay”

For the price, this hotel was great. It didn't have a ton of bells and whistles, but it was clean, well maintained, conveniently located to Ft. Jackson, and had a very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if your attending a basic training graduation at Ft. Jackson.

Traveller's tip

The rooms have a nice TV with a DVD player. There is a Redbox machine (1$ DVD rental) right across the street at the WalMart. Since my family member had to be back at the barracks early, we were able to rent a movie for the evening. Very convenient.
