"lovely hotel, excellent location"
Hotel is one of the best i have stayed in. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for three nights while visiting Rome, hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful!. Situated 5 minutes walk away from the Colosseum and walking distance to other main attractions, this place was ideal for us. Fresh towels, tea and water daily which was a very nice touch. The metro was 15 mins walk down the road which was easy to figure out, hopped on to go see the Vatican. Plenty of restaurants in the area - go to Papagio restaurant , which was 10 minutes away by walking. Best food i have ever had (Lobster with short cut pasta in a tomato sauce and white chocolate tiramissu).

"Excellent value for money"
I arrived after midnight and was warmly welcomed by the night receptionist, whose English was very good. I was given lots of useful information about the city and how to get to all the major sites. The receptionist was clearly proud of their city and was keen for visitors to enjoy themselves, a really nice welcome. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Termini station and many of the sites are accesible on foot from the hotel. My room was spacious and despite being at the front of the hotel was very quiet due to good sound proofing. The room wasn't luxurious but had everything I would expect and was comfortable. My rate included breakfast where there was a large range of food and the self service buffet was regularly restocked, again not luxurious but excellent value and friendly staff.

"Great B&B with a great location."
Domus Liberius was a great B&B centrally located. Staff was very helpful and facilities were clean. I recommend staying here. Only issue was hot water not being plentiful.

"Very central for visiting Rome centre"
Very straightforward getting from the Airport to the hotel and although we arrived early the room was ready and we were allowed to settle in giving a whole afternoon to sightsee and evening too. They were exceptionally helpful with getting a taxi for the return journey giving a very pleasant unstressful experience.

"Great hotel, very convenient location!"
Our hotel room was on the 5th floor - it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Toiletries and a blow dryer were provided in our bathroom. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the train station, and was walking distance for us to all of the tourist sites. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with breads, cakes, fruit, scrambled and also hard-boiled eggs, cheese and sliced meats, tomatoes and lettuce, yogurt, a variety of juices, and made-to-order cappuccinos!! It was a great 4-night stay!!

The Inn at the Roman Forum

"A Haven of peace in the Heart of Rome"
From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out (a total of 4 days and 3 nights) we knew we hit gold with The Inn at the Forum. Although it was a little difficult to find, that actually being more a problem for our taxi driver than for us, once we did arrive you could not have asked for a more genuine welcome. At checkin we were treated to a welcome drink and a tour of their very own "Old Roman Ruins" before we were shown to our rooms. Perfectly clean and beautifully laid out, spacious with all modern conveniences (working too !! this is Italy after all and my other experiences of Italy are more Form than Function). Although we were about as central to Rome as you can get, you still feel you have peace and tranquility all around. Nothing was more than a 20 minute walk (with so much more to discover at every turn of the paths/roads) , with the exception of the Vatican which was a short Bus ride away. Local restaurants serving great food at very affordable prices all a short stagger home (fuelled by plenty of vino collapso -- the local brew). I can HIGHLY recommend The Inn at the Forum to anyone ( and having left our younglings at home) particularly couples without offspring in tow.

    Pocket Guide: Rome Colosseum Hotels

The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.
