Location was central, excellent and very safe - good shops servicing basics just up the road ! Not all rooms have the view over the garden or the Roman Forum as shown on website which is very dissapppointing - you could get a wall ! Good breakfast - hot and cold food. No tea/coffee in room (seems to be an Italian thing) or even complimentary water. We asked for a jug of cold water in our room and were told we couldn't have one - very very poor service for a supposedly 4* hotel. Luckily there was a little pump on the end of road (lots of these scattered around Rome) which freely dispensed ice cold water ! Rooms are very basic to look at - some pictures on the walls, cushions on beds would make them look much nicer and not so sparce and bare looking - normal to see this in 4* rooms. Comfortable chairs would help too - we had one desk one only in our family rooms. A/C not very powerful but you get used to this after a while. A cup of hot chocolate we bought up to our room on the first night was not cleared away for the 5 days we were there !! Restaurant very expensive but not a problem as we ate out all the time. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel but I would not rate it 4*.
Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, our air con broke down and engineer at the door within 5mins! Good choice breakfast, clean room, maids in every day only thing was shower was impossibly small. Would stay here again.

The staff were fantastic and helped us out with many little questions. We arrived a little early for check-in and they stored our luggage while we ran around Rome. Once we returned, the porter cheerfully took our luggage to our room. Breakfast was delicious and staff attentive. They also helped us arrange a better option for transportation to the airport after our stay.
We were very lucky to get a room in this hotel at the last minute. Having experienced a problem with my original booking at another hotel, it put our visit to Rome back on track. On arrival I was greeted by very friendly staff who checked me in swiftly and set me up with a complimentary tiramisu and ice cold water.
The Superior Room we had was opposite the main Hotel, and was very beautiful, with a fabulous shower and lovely bed and bedding.
WiFi was a little intermittent, but I have to be honest I didn't really need it, so didn't bother to see if I was doing something wrong, or follow up on that.
Breakfast was included, and served on a very sociable small roof terrace. Continental buffet, tea and coffee, and a choice of cooked eggs. It set us up perfectly for the rest of the day. The staff were lovely, and conversation between guests flowed easily.
There's also a very pretty 'roof-top' garden tucked away out the back.
Every evening there was a very civilised 'happy hour', again served on the roof terrace, which was great for another chat with other guests before popping out for dinner.
Check out the hotel's hidden gem behind reception during your stay.
The staff really took care of us, and we really cannot fault this lovely venue!
I stayed here with a friend for a night in Rome, and we weren't sure what to expect because we booked it last minute. The front desk staff was immediately helpful and let us go to our room around 1pm. We got to our room, and it was clean with any amenities we needed. The windows completely blackout light with a switch, and the pillows weren't the terrible pillows we were used to in Europe! The shower had great water pressure. We ordered room service, which was brought up to our room within 20 minutes. The food is GREAT so we decided to eat dinner at the hotel that night. The waitress and kitchen were extremely accommodating with celiac disease and other allergies. The rooftop view is AMAZING if you have a chance to get dinner up there. This hotel is a hidden gem around Rome touristy sights, and the staff remembers people's names and room numbers to always try to help.
Beautiful room with marbl bathroom, great location, nice staff recommended good places to eat. Would have been excellent except for problem with the air conditioning in our room. They brought in fans and saved the day.
The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.
