I have been staying at the Antlers for years. It is a great hotel right downtown and a mainstay of Colorado College alumna and parents visiting their children. Always a little busy for weddings and other events. The large lobby handles all of the events well. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is always helpful.
Read the reviews for places to stay and I was not disappointed in this hotel. Rooms were large and very clean. I could have stayed longer. Also, it was built in 1902 for the miners in the region to come to. Love the history that oozes from this place. I would highly recommend it!

Stayed one night before flying out of Colorado Springs airport. Hotel was located within 10 miles of the airport and was an easy drive via interstate. I had a rental car but I noticed a shuttle parked near the entrance, I assume for shuttling guests to and from the airport. The hotel was also a 10 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs. The front desk staff was very friendly and prompt during check-in and check-out, and there was no line or waiting at the desk. I was offered a warm cookie and bottle of water at check-in and another cookie before leaving at check-out. There was a nice atrium where several guests were enjoying breakfast or meeting for business. However, I chose to have breakfast away from the hotel. There was a Target shopping center across the street and many other shops and restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. I was provided a map of the surrounding area at check-in which was very helpful. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was friendly too. When I logged onto the Internet, it appeared that I may have to pay for this service. However I found a guest code in the small packet along with my room key, even though this wasn't mentioned to me at the front desk. Overall, a pleasant experience.
A step back into time. Very elegant and comfortable. In the heart of Mantou Springs. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Drink the water from one of the many fountains. For us, a relaxing long weekend.
