“Great place to stay!”

“Will stay here again”

We spent a great weekend in Colorado Springs with my daughter and her new puppy in a pet friendly room. You could not tell that there had ever been an animal in the room. Saturday it snowed all day and we were fine staying at the hotel the entire day. The sports bar is friendly and the food is very good. The breakfast buffet was perfect. The lounge area is very comfortable to hang out in and visit with friends that stopped by to see us. There are plenty of great restaurants and shopping close by. Close enough to walk to if necessary. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Area recommendations

I lived in this area for 15 years and I recommend the North end of town. It's just a nicer, newer area of the city. Colorado Springs is pretty easy to get around and you can stay just about anywhere and not have a problem with traffic during most hours of the day.

“One of the best hotel values!”

This hotel was even better than we expected. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The pool was warmer than most hotels which was awesome. We don't like to swim in chilly water. The lobby/atrium was huge and beautiful with live trees and plants and lit up with pretty lights. There was cozy seating by the fireplace and a very charming bar all in the atrium. They had a prime rib dinner special for $14.99 Fri/Sat that included potato and soup or salad. It was very good. The free breakfast buffet was AMAZING. Best we've had in a hotel and we get around. Made to order omelettes and waffles with homemade whipped cream and strawberries, as well scrambled eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage and the kids could even make their own chocolate milk. Outstanding. And the seating area is spacious. One of the best hotel experiences for the money!

“Great hotel!”

We stayed for three nights on a visit to see the Air Force Academy. Best value around. Great breakfast buffet, super location and friendly staff in restaurant and hotel. If my son attends the AFA this will be our home away from home!

“Great updated family-run hotel with 24-hr pool and nice pub on sight!”

I go to Colorado to attend my in-residence weekends for my doctoral program at the University of the Rockies. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to my campus downtown, which was about 10-15 min away. I was so pleased with this hotel. The price was great. Service was excellent. It has a lovely lobby with a large fireplace, fountains and a pool, which is enclosed by railings and open 24-hours. The pub had great, inexpensive burgers and a quality buffet is included. The rooms are large, updated and tasteful. It is located in a commercial area with lots of retail shopping and restaurants nearby and it is easy to get to right of the highway. I will go back again and highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

“Will definitely go back to this hotel again. We were very impressed.”

Loved the large lobby with the couches and chairs around the fireplace. Everything was clean and the staff was very courteous. Five minutes after we had gotten into our room, we had a courtesy call from the front desk to see if there was anything that we needed and if the room was to our liking. Their free breakfast buffet was very impressive with such a variety of breakfast items to chose from. The hostess was very friendly and always checking if everything was ok or to get us something to drink. Picked this hotel because it was very close to the Air Force Academy and Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs. Very happy that we went thru Expedia and found this hotel. Very enjoyable stay. Would recommend to all our friends.
