“Great Hotel for Photokina”

Great value. Clean comfortable rooms. University area is great for walks. 2 block walk to tram station for easy commute to the Messe fairgrounds. Bar and restaurant comfortable.

“One of the best I have ever stayed in”

The staff was courteous. I found the 18 euros to be a bit much for breakfast but the dinners we had from the dining room to be very good. Free internet as we got at other hotels would have been nice. The staff bent over backwards to supply me with information I needed for a trip to Amsterdam. Pricey hotel but I felt safe comforatable and secure the 4 nights I spent there.

“Will definitely stay here again.”

My family and I stayed at this hotel to attend my son's wedding. I was totally satisfied with everything and will certainly use the hotel again. The meal we had in the hotel restaurant was most enjoyable and not expensive.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the area around the University because I am familiar with it and think it is a convenient area to be based.

“New Years 2010”

The hotel was in a good location, about a 30 minute walk to the downtown area, but only about 10-15 to get to the shopping district. Cologne is a great place to shop! We went on New Years weekend. There was not much open in the city during the day on New Years Day. The Dom was open, but that was about it. Staff was friendly and helpful. The sauna area was free, my only complaint would be that it had limited hours of operation. It would have been nice if it was open all day, then we could have better utilized it. Although we didn't eat breakfast, they served it later on New Years Day to accommodate guests who had stayed out late. The room was clean and hotel was quiet.

Shopping

This is a great place to shop. The shopping street goes on forever, and there are several shopping streets off of the main one. Shopping ranges from low-end to high end with several department stores. There were sales when we were there so we got some good deals.

“Das Park Inn Cologne City West ist gut per PKW zu erreichen, liegt in Fussentfernung zur Innenstadt”

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Räume sind sauber. Es gibt eine eigene Tiefgarage und ausreichend eigene Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Für Gäste die mit dem PKW anreisen ist das sehr angenehm; leider mit 16 Euro pro Tag nicht ganz billig. Als Alternative gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze in den Seitenstraßen hinter dem Haus. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und frisch. Bei den Frühstückszeiten war das Personal sehr tolerant: es gab auch um 10:15 noch etwas zu Essen. Zu Fuß ist man in 20 Minuten in der Innenstadt; wer nicht laufen will, kann mit der Straßenbahn fahren nach 5 Gehminuten vom Haus. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, sauber und geräumig.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit hervorragendem Frühstück, sehr reichhaltig Das ich 16,00 Euro für ein Freiluftparkplatz zahlen muss, für eine Übernachtung fand ich dann doch etwas happig, die hat den sehr guten Gesamteindruck beschädigt.

“Prima kerstweekend in keulen”

We zijn naar het Park Inn Cologne City West gegaan omdat we lekker naar een kerstmarkt wilden gaan. Met de tram is het 2 haltes naar de eerste kerstmarkt en de tram rijdt regelmatig. De kamer was netjes en bediening prima!
