“Good Value Hotel”

ask for a room away from the adjoining main roads. we asked and were moved with no fuss. do not ask the reception to book your airport taxi it was 50% more expensive. apart from that we had no complaints about the hotel, apart from the barman who would rather watch the TV than serve

“Ideal For Christmas Markets”

The hotel is ideally located for city breaks to Cologne. The train station and Cathedral are within 5 minutes walk and the Old Town a further 5 minutes away. We used this hotel for a weekend break visiting the Christmas markets so location was key. The hotel is typically efficient, rooms are clean and modern and the staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was included and is both plentiful and should please all tastes from cereal to pastries and cheese, hams and breads. Whilst the interior design may not be everyone's style, you won't forget the dining room chairs and the random picture frame in your room!

“good hotel in Koln”

the hotel is very good and close to the main station. the hotel has free wifi and the breakfast is very good. the problem is too close the train station and sometimes will be quite noise.

“Good City location”

Good location to explore the city. Hotel modern clean nice buffet breakfast and good service. Try to get a room away from the road which runs along side the hotel. Don't be put off by its location which is near the railway station. It is just along the road from the Hilton and is a 5 min walj to the cathedral christmas markets and shops

“Value for money”

Good clean hotel. Single room was large and had 3 single beds! Good breakfast. Walking distance to station and sights. Helpful reception. Will stay here again.

Area recommendations
We went for the Christmas markets. Well worth the visit. Also went to the Cathedral, Chocolate factory and shopping area. Water front was also nearby. Did most of the sights on foot!

“Good value”

Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast,and free wi-fi were positives. Didn't know that certain rooms did not have air conditioning and those that do cost more.

“Good for trains and tourists”

The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the main station and also convenient for the Dom and tourist attractions. The reception staff were welcoming and our room which had recently been refurbished was spacious and comfortable. It overlooked a busy road but was well sound proofed. Breakfast, included in the price, was good. I would definitely go there again.

“Good hotel near train station”

The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from the train station, the main cathedral, and the art museums around it. The wifi worked good, front desk staff was helpful. My room did face the back and i could hear some noise from the train tracks, but it wasn't so much as to not allow me to sleep at night. if you leaving the hotel and walking straight under and overpass it leads you to a street with about 4 grocery stores, no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The one on the right called REWE has the biggest selection of food.

“Great location near the Dom”

Excellent location beside the main train station and two blocks from the Dom. Rooms were quite comfortable with a comfortable bed. Great shower and water pressure which can be a problem in Europe. The breakfast which was included was fresh with lots of choices. Only downside I experienced was the lack of parking around the hotel. Had to find a spot blocks away, and it was quite the inconvenience having to constantly go back to the car and feed Euros into the meter system. Ended up getting a ticket anyways!

Area recommendations
The Old Town of Cologne is the hub for restaurants, bars and nightlife. We ate at numerous restaurants which were all great. Even though the central area is touristy, I was pleased that the pricing wasn't jacked up specifically for tourists.
