“looking forward to staying again in 2010”

our only complaint was that on the day we were to check out the woman who was to clean our room knocked us up at 8.40am to tell us she was outside. we had checked with reception for the check out time which was 12 o'clock so we felt we could enjoy a lie in on our last day in cologne especially after such a late night before. That was our only complaint and if their booking system went further forward we would have booked already for next year!!!

“Lovely hotel, really helpful staff”

I have just visited this hotel for the third time, each time for a holiday. Every time has been the same, great staff and a very comfortable stay. We asked for a few things during our visit - extra towels and so on - and all requests were actioned promptly. If I am lucky enough to visit Cologne again, I would only ever want to stay here.

“Clean, Comfortable and Centrally Located”

I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. While it may not offer a lot of "local color", it does provide clean, good-sized, modern rooms and bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The staff is attentive and helpful. The hotel seems to cater mostly to business travelers, but I've stayed there on several occasions with my family (2 adults & 2 teens) for leisure travel. We love the central location and its close proximity to the Dom Cathedral, the museums, the main railway station, and all kinds of shopping and dining. The hotel bar can be lively with business travelers, but the rooms are quiet and well laid out.

“Great Hotel in the heart of Cologne”

The Hilton hotel is a wonderful place to stay , within 5 minute walk of the magnificent Cathederal, and the close by pedestrian shopping centre. Excellent rooms with all mod cons, a nice big bath with seperate shower, and 100% clean!

“Relaxation awaits”

The hotel was extremely clean and accommadating, the staff were all very friendly and very efficient in dealing with any enquiries. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is no pressure placed upon you if you just want to sit and unwind with a coffee in the hotel bars. The food served in the restuarants is of a good standard as is the value

“Total Comfort in centre of Cologne”

From aircraft touch down to being in our room took 30 minutes, Cologne airport is the most efficient I've ever experienced. Our room was modest in size but perfectly laid out and appointed. Wi-Fi, iron and board, robes, slippers, good shower and very comfy beds. Also, which is rare for a city centre hotel, very peaceful. We didn't try the spa, but were offered half price massage at check-in. The 2 bars are well served and the drinks are as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The hotel breakfast was good but vastly over-priced, there are plenty of places offering breakfast in the vacinity of the hotel. I will only being staying at the Cologne Hilton on future trips.

“Great location for Christmas markets”

The hotel is 2 mins walk from the train station and right next to the Cathedral. The nearest Christmas market was 2-mins away and the furthest was only a 15-20 min walk. The staff were incredibly helpful and all spoke excellent English. There are numerous places for breakfast lunch or dinner near the hotel. I recommend getting a massage during happy hour! The ice bar served excellent cocktails but very pricey! I also recommend a Baileys Choc Cream at the Choloate Museum.

“Very Welcoming Hotel”

After arriving late due to train problems on a cold, wet November evening in Cologne, the welcome at the hotel was particularly warming. The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and approachable; something you'd expect from any hotel but not always received. The hotel rooms and facilities are what you would expect from a Hilton. Hotel is perfectly situated from the train station, shopping area and cathedral in Cologne.
