“In the heart of Cologne”

This hotel is located in the middle of shopping and restaurants so very easy to get around. We were 4 in our party, 2 kids and 2 adults, so had no choice but to take 2 rooms as 3 was the max allowed per room. Very comfortable, staff went out of their way to help out, spoke English. Enjoyed our visit.

“Simply the best”

We have stayed here several times before and it is excellent. I can say that it is the best in Cologne (we live an hour away). It is centrally located, next to the Dom, and within the walking area of shopping and restaurants. There is public parking underneath the hotel. The staff is excellent and go out of their way to assist. We have recommended the hotel to many people in Europe,the USA and the UK. They have also raved.

“Memorable weekend”

We booked this hotel for two reasons. First to celebrate our 40th Wedding anniversary, and second, to explore old haunts from when we lived in Cologne 40 years ago. On arrival at the hotel we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite overlooking The "Dom" and square. The reason for this was that they had found out that it was our special weekend. The suite was magnificent, with a large bathroom, bath robes and slippers. All the staff were very polite and friendly, from the front desk, to the bar and restaurant, which made us feel as if we had known them for years. Returning to our room on the second day, we found two glasses and a bottle of champagne on ice, with compliments from the Hotel. The Dom Hotel is ideally placed for the Cathedral, museums, the Rhein and shopping. Our weekend in Cologne was one we will never forget. The Dom Hotel certainly pulled out all the stops to ensure that it was a very memorable one.

I stay in a lot of hotels in Europe. The DOM is one of the best - very nice location opposite the cathedral. Service outstanding. Because of the renovation, the rooms now are really high end. Staff is very polite and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

The attention to detail was wonderful. The reception desk and concierge were welcoming and friendly and the location of the hotel was second to none. The cathedral was on the doorstep and the river just down the round. The little train which takes you around the city to the zoo or to the chocolate museum started from the square by the hotel. The breakfast was probably the best I've had in Europe - expensive but good value.

“Great hotel, great location, great service!”

Great hotel in brilliant location. We arrivede early in the morning and they were very helpful in getting us a room ahead of the alloted check in time. The bar and outside bar/resturant was really nice with great food. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay there again for sure.

FORS:Enjoyed the stay,beautiful hotel,staff very helpful and spoke good English.Good,central location for everything. AGAINSTS:Breakfast dear at 28 Euros,wanted to watch a film on tele but thought 12 Euros was too much and the duvet only hung over the edge of the bed by about 3/4 inches-went and asked for some blankets and was informed that blankets 'weren't available in Germany'.As I thought-duvet kept coming off and waking me up in night.
