“Impressive”

Reception staff very welcoming and helpful in explaining what trams to get and where they stopped, also got us the train times for us to go to Koblenz. Had breakfast there, not cheap but extremely good, we cannot fault this hotel the room was a good size and there was a coffee maker which we had not expected to have. We plan to go out to the area again and will not consider any other hotel.

“Gutes Hotel aber nicht Modern”

Hallo also eigentlich ist das Hotel Super schöne Zimmer große Badezimmer nette Bedienung aber eine Modernes Hotel braucht Wifi auf den Zimmern und ohne geht einfach gar nicht also ist es nicht wirklich Modern für mich! Es gibt gratis Internet über Lan aber eben kein Wifi! Also jeder mit einem iPhone oder iPad oder eben das gleiche aus China hat eben Pech gehabt :

“Een Hotel met een uitstekende Prijs Kwaliteitsverhouding; een terugkeer waard.”

Weliswaar ligt het hotel iets buiten het centrum van Keulen, maar door het prima OV (ook 's nachts) was dat voor ons eerder een voordeel dan een nadeel. De zakelijk benadering, die daarbij toch heel vriendelijk en servicegericht was, sprak ons aan. Ondanks de jonge leeftijd van de meeste stafleden, wist men ons goed tevreden te stellen tijdens ons verblijf van 3 nachten. Zeker een hotel om bij een volgend verblijf opnieuw weer te kiezen.

Area recommendations

Afhankelijk van de interesse is zowel de " Innenstadt " met haar oude huizen, de Rijn als ook het (gay) nightlife interessant. Met onze dagkaart hebben we o.a. van het OV ruim gebruik gemaakt waardoor je van de omgeving van Keulen ook een goede indruk kreeg, tegen zeer lage kosten.

Nightlife

Voor diegenen die geinteresseerd zijn in de faciliteiten die de homohoreca biedt, is Keulen zeker een reis waard. Via de verschillende websites kunnen locaties en evenementen worden uitgezocht. Prettig is daarbij, dat in het weekend, ook na 00.30u, diverse trams een (half)uurs dienst blijven rijden tegen normaal tarief, zodat we gemakkelijk in ons hotel terugkwamen.

“Hotel top, Expedia-Service flop”

Das Hotel bietet sehr schickes, zeitgemäßes Design (Holzboden im Zimmer, Schiefer im Bad) mit einer wirklich hochwertigen Anmutung. Im Sommer sehr angenehm. Die kostenlose Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer, das Angebot weiterer Kissen, ausgesuchte Körperpflege-Artikel im Bad - nicht unbedingt üblich, hat mir persönlich sehr gefallen. Trotz der Straßen sowie Straßenbahn direkt am Hotel kein Lärm von aussen, auf vielen Zimmern sehr schöne Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, wenngleich auch vielleicht mir 17€ etwas teuer (auch im Vergleich). Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Area recommendations

Ich war leider nur geschäftlich in diesem Hotel und hatte bisher keine Zeit für Sightseeing. Für diejenigen, die sich dafür interessieren - ein sehr schöner, großer, alter Friedhof liegt gleich in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Leider habe ich es bisher noch nicht geschafft, dort einen Spaziergang zu unternehmen, werde das aber bei einem späteren Besuch sicher noch nachholen. Die Internet-Seite des Melaten-Friedhofs macht sehr neugierig.

Hôtel tout à fait satisfaisant par rapport à ce qui est annoncé sur le site. Un peu trop excentré du centre, mais proche transports en commun. Propre et calme. Petit déjeuner trop cher.

“Best Western Premium Hotel Regent in Köln ist zentral gelegen”

Für alle Erstbucher: Dieses Hotel liegt an einer wichtigen U-Bahnstation. U-Bahnlärm bis spät in die Nacht. Lediglich die Premium Zimmer liegen auf der anderen Seite. Ansonsten schöne große Zimmer und guter Service.

“Ein Wochenende in Köln”

Es war ein wunderbares Hotel mit einer schönen Ausstattung und tollem Service. Der einzige Nachteil, sollte man es als Hotel für einen Städtetrip buchen, ist die relativ weite Entfernung zum Zentrum. Dies ist aber mit der Tram-Bahn problemlos zu bewältigen.

“Tolle Unterkunft - gut erreichbar - für mich eine glatte 5,0!!!!”

EIn sehr gepflegtes, auberes und schönes Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer, das nicht zur Straße ging, so dass es auch sehr ruhig war. Die Lage ist ok, für jemanden ohne Auto vielleicht nicht so praktisch. Für uns war es super, schade nur, dass der Parkplatz EUR 15,00 kostet. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist gut, die Größe völlig ausreichend. Die Betten waren sehr weich aber trotzdem total bequem (ich mag eigentlich eher harte Matratzen).
