“It's a nice clean hotel”

The hotel is a good one Rooms are very comfortable and clean Service is good as well It's two underground stations from the city center Dom hbf station The street is active all night due to lots of clubs and pubs all around the hotel It was stood experience Enjoy your stay there

“Comfortable, friendly hotel”

Good location in terms of closeness to the old town etc but very close to a couple of nightclubs so I'd recommend getting a room at the back if you can - though probably impossible at Karneval time when we were there! Otherwise, good clean spacious rooms (though the tvs need upgrading!) and friendly service with a top breakfast.

“Cologne 'Business' hotel”

This hotel is very out dated; every steps, strange hallways you have to go through; room not good. Woudl not recommend.

“Nice but noisy rooms at front of hotel.”

This hotel was recommended to us by my brother who has stayed twice. We asked for a room at the back of the hotel as we were told front rooms were noisy but none was available. The room we were given was a lovely room but sadly the noise of the traffic and revellers kept us awake.

“Gegenüber diverse Nachtbars, aber sehr gute isolierende Fenster.”

Reise war so wie erwartet.

Wir haben etwas in der Nähe von Bochum gesucht um einen Kurzurlaub in Verbindung mit dem Besuch des Musicals Starlight Express zu buchen. Das hat super geklappt, von Köln nach Bochum hatten wir nur 60 Minuten Fahrt. Die restliche 2 Tage konnten wir uns Köln ansehen mit Dom, Seilbahn, Altstadt, Rhein usw. und haben super gegessen. Köln ist sicher noch eine Reise wert. Abgesehen von nicht gerade sauberen Tiefgaragen am Hohenzollernring die manchmal scheinbar als Toiletten genutzt werden war alles OK.

“Eingeschränkte öffnungszeiten Fitness”

Zu unserer Enttäuschung war der angepriesene Fitnessraum am Wochenende erst ab 12h Vormittags und nur bis 18h geöffnet.

Das Hotel befindet sich in sehr guter Lage, es ist gepflegt und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Zum weiterempfehlen geeignet.

“Das Hotel Ascot liegt sehr Zentral”

Am 11.02 für ei Wochenende angereist.Sehr grosses Zimmer,gut ausgestattet.Kaffee und Tee kann man auf dem Zimmer selbst zubereiten. Die zentrale Lage ist sehr gut.Vom Bahnhof fährt man am besten mit einem Taxi(5,80 Euro).Für den Rückweg befindet sich ein Taxistand direkt am Hotel. In die Innenstadt kann man sehr schön zu Fuß laufen.Direkt durch eine langgezogene Einkaufsstrasse.Ca 20 Minuten zum Dom.Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen.Leider liegt auf der anderen Seite eine Discothek. Von der Musik ist nichts zu hören.Durch das Rauchverbot sind aber die ganze Nacht viele Gäste vor der Tür.Wir wohnten zwar im 7 Stock,aber der Lärmpegel war ziemlich hoch.Es störte mehr, als die 4 spurige Fahrbahn vor dem Hotel.Am Samstag nach unserer Kostümsitzung im Kristallsaal und etlichen Kölsch,haben wir dann allerdings nichts gehört.Frühstück übrigens sehr gut.Kaffee klasse.Buffet wurde gleich wieder gefüllt.Sehr freundliches Personal.

Unbedingt in eines der vielen Brauhäuser gehen.Zum Kölsch trinken kann man das spontan machen.Um einen Tisch am Wochenende zu bekommen unbedingt reservieren.Tip:Zum walfisch.Sehr gemütlich,gute Stimmung. Aber auch die anderen Brauhäuser sehr schön eingerichtet.Überall verschiedene Kölsch zu bekommen.Preise fast überall gleich. Eine Turmbesteigung vom Dom muss man machen.Auch das Schokoladenmuseum ist sehenswert.Liegt direkt am Rheinufer.

“HOTEL AMENON ASCOT”

Hotel piuttosto vecchio l'ascensore non arriva a tutte le camere, quindi molto scomodo muoversi con delle valigie pesanti da trascinare su e giù per rampe di scale. Colazione abbastanza misera, con poca scelta di pietanze.

“Mai 2010”

Bewohnte zusammen mit einer Freundin das Hotel. Liegt mitten in der Kölschen Partyzone - das wollten wir, war von dem her super, zu Fuß ca. 5 Min von jeder Bar entfernt ... sehr sympathisches Personal! Frühstück war reichlich und lecker (Obst, Eier ...)!
