We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - very comfortable, clean, and well maintained.

This is the best hotel in the city of Alton. They have a great free breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

We have stayed there several times. The rooms are clean and actually quite spacious. The hotel is quiet. The breakfast is fresh and readily available. The staff has always been kind and courteous. Would definitely recommend it as the place to stay.

I have stayed at the Alton Comfort Inn many times and expect to go back again in the near future. The clerk is always friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are clean and attractive. I recommend this hotel highly.

“Enjoyaboe stay”

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Room was a little small for 4 adults but certainly not a deterent to staying again. Pool area was good and well stocked with towels. Very good choices for breakfast.

the stay at the hotel was great however at checkout we did find out that it would have cost us ten dollars less if we wouldnt have gone through expedia.

great location for family visits to the alton area. overall, a good stay for the price, clean room, clean pool. not crowded while we were there. i do not know how old the facility is, or the other hotels in the area, but it could use an overall, looking pretty shabby. but clean...next to railroad tracks, but not noteworthy in my opinion, unless you are a very light sleeper. the front desk was friendly and helpful. another chain, next door always seemed to have full parking lot, but ours never filled, although on friday, a bus tour did check in. but no problems.

“Clean and functional, not spectacular.”

I stayed here one evening a couple of weeks ago. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It was well located for the purposes of my visit. They have a nice indoor pool area which I did not use. I did have a minor issue with my billing (Expedia charged me once and the hotel charged me again). It took two calls to the hotel to get it cleared up, but both times the person I spoke to was polite and apologetic for the mix up. For what it is, the price of the room seemed a bit higher than others in the area, but the number of hotels in that area is a bit limited.

“Locker room smell...”

There was a weird musky smell in the room. Similar to an old locker room... Room looked clean, but that smell was not very pleasant. For that price you can probably find a much better hotel. The breakfast is also very very basic...Continental.
