“Decent Hotel”
For an old motel, it was nice. Lobby staff was very professional. They even gave us water bottles and snacks upon arrival. Room was clean. Shower had good pressure. I would stay here again.
“Okay for a short stay”
The hotel was not super fancy, but was clean. The pool was small, but clean. The hot tub was out of service. They seemed to be short on towels, either because people stole them, or they were behind on the wash. We had to ask for more towels, since we only had two sets in our room and their were 3 of us.
“Perfect weekend getaway”
Hotel looks nice and is well kept. Room is comfortable and hotel staff is friendly. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Location is good. The only complain is that the bathroom seemd t not have been cleaned completely from the outside, but other than that, everything was great.
“Manor Inn Convienient, but Loud”
The hotel's location was great and the price could not be beat. The room was nothing special and the lighting was very dim. Breakfast was ok, again nothing special except it was free. My only complaint would be that there were some very loud, drunk construction workers staying there. We were leaving our room early in the evening and there was a guy with his pants down in the parking lot peeing right next to our car. I reported this to the front desk, but the girl pretty much blew it off.
“Hotel Upgrading property, would go back.”
Upon arriving at the hotel, the outside looked newly remodeled. The room was clean, but nothing special. Good price for the value, and good location. I had called prior to going and asked if rooms had a hair dryer, and was told yes. However, the next morning when I tried to use it, it was not working. I had changed my room request from a king to a double upon checking in without any hassles. Front desk very accommodating. Needed more towels, as only two were in the room. The shampoo and conditioner were in paper packages and very small, also needed more. Breakfast was just continental, but enough. The hotel is obliviously undergoing renovations to try and bring the entire property up. The rooms appeared to be freshly painted, and the bath had marble installed around the tub. You could see additional marble outside waiting to be installed. I would return in the future, as the hotel appears to be in much better shape than the hotel next door. Close to shopping, restaurants, and university. Appears that it will be full during games, as they had signs up requesting you fax in your request and minimum stay of two nights.
“Good hotel for the Price”
Everything was ok. You certainly get what you pay for, but the beds were better than most Inns. The only complaint was the complimentary breakfast. It was bad. The only good thing to eat was the waffles that you get to make. They had a toaster, but no bread, just bagels. The hotel staff seemed to watch you when you prepare your food and eat, which was a little uncomfortable. The front desk is in front of the dining area. It is definitely a 2 star hotel which is ok since you know this when booking. I've stayed at other Inns and they usually supply boiled eggs, toast, bananas, oranges, cereal, bagels, and oatmeal. This one only had 3 choices of cereal, apples, bagels, and waffles. Eveything else was good.
“" A Good complimentary Breakfast"”
The Motel needs a Shuttle Bus to TAMU or the Motel Staff should give you information about using the Public Tranportation.
“Geat stay.”
great prices. very fair to good quality with everything. it was super cheap so it was no 5 star resort but we stayed 3 nights and had a great time.
“Clean Enjoyable Experience”
I would go back. Its a decent place for the price.
“Going back in April”
Conveniently located blocks from A&M. Plenty of places to eat near hotel. Room was neat and clean. Would stay there again when visiting A&M.
