“reasonable rate”

This hotel is very convenient to the campus and is in a better part of town. They are advertising that they will be remodeling in 2012, which will be nice. The room was generally clean, but I don't think it had been vacuumed. There was some debris on the floor. It will really be much nicer with a coat of paint and some updating in the bathroom. If it hadn't been for the dumpster being emptied at 5 am I'm sure I would have slept fine.

“Disappointed”

Nice hotel, and we only stayed one night, but there was not any hot water at all. We could not even take a shower, we called customer service and they said they rented rooms at the hotel next door and we could go there to shower. They only offered to compensated with 10% off of next visit. We will probably will not go back.

“Most Enjoyable!!!!!”

I had the best hotel stay at the Hawthorne!!! You can't beat clean, quite, great hotel staff, and breakfast too!!! Breakfast wasn't just breads and juice. Eggs and Bacon along with all the choices. Can't go wrong here. Great Place to stay !!!!!!!

“Comfortable and spacious”

We were there for one night. I liked that the hotel was pet friendly. We took our dog and had no problems. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Two queen beds with a fold out couch in the sitting room. 2 TVs, one in main bedroom and one in the sitting area. Our older teen had his own "room" with a door so that was nice. We will stay there every time we are in BCS from now on if we can. Breakfast was OK - no waffles or bacon though and my kids love waffles at hotel breakfasts.

“Good value.”

The rooms while not "posh" are clean and comfortable. The bed was most comfortable and even though there a complement of high school athletes were in the hotel, all was kept quiet. The front desk personnel were polite, exceptionally accommodating. The breakfast modest but more than filling. A good value.
