Good location but staff unfriendly

Cons: The way guests are greeted
The person checking us in was unwelcoming and quite rude. She told us that our only option was a room on the first floor and that it handicap accessible. The hotel was really loud and the room was close to the pool so it wasn't ideal. She told us that we didn't have to take the room that it was our choice not to check into the hotel. I was totally caught off guard that a Marriott employee would talk to someone checking into one of their properties. We stay at Marriott's all the time and I've never had someone be so rude.

Very Comfortable and Clean

Location: A minute or two to Texas A&M. Many restaurants and shopping VERY close to hotel . Great location.
The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Great stay close to TAMU campus

The hotel was great! We'd stay here again:). Had a quick check-in and was greeted with bottled waters, a snack, and a hand written welcome note. The room was clean, quiet, and met all expectations. Perfect location to visit campus.

Very good. We plan to stay again when we come to visit our student at A&M. The breakfast was very good and the staff responsible for setting it up and maintaining it were excellent and very friendly. Front desk staff was extremely hospitable and helpful with our questions. Only shortcoming of the whole experience was the fan in the bathroom was so noisy that it was disruptive when in use. But that seems like an easy fix. Again would stay there in the future and recommend it.

great value for the money

Pros: cleanliness
Cons: everything seemed in order.
We were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and it appeared to have been recently re-decorated. Staff was pleasant and the hot breakfast was fabulous. This was the first time I've seen Greek yogurt at a free breakfast bar. Towels were soft and the room included a microwave an fridge. We did not take advantage of the pool, but it appeared clean and well maintained.

Smelly Elevators

I'm not sure if it was an automatic deodorizer or what but the odor in the elevators was so strong we had a stinging in our throats in a short ride on the elevator. We held our breath or took the stairs it was so bad. Breakfast was fabulous tho
