“Great Deal for the money”

I like this hotel for the price it is in the middle of the woods nice warm, best walking in the world around the hotel, peace, rest perfect.

“Needs a lot of work”

This hotel has a marvelous location, but looks like it was built in the 50's and that nothing has been done to it is since. When asked about the construction date, we were absolutely floored to hear that it was in the 1990's! The room was tired and dark. The resort must have rooms with great views and some had big balconies. However, we must have received a "consolidator's" room, which overlooked another building. The walkway surrounding the lagoon was in really poor location and needs to be replaced. Also, there is no service--which is not unusual for AU, but as an international chain, we at least expected someone to bring our luggage to our room. Of all the hotels we stayed at on our 6 week sojourn, this was the ugliest and least comfortable. I could not wait to move onto the next hotel.

The room was way overpriced for the quality we got.

You can tell the age of the hotel needs an update disappointed on the distance between all the eg pools, reception,tennis courts and eating area hard to get to in the rain.

“Beautiful grounds. Tired, rundown rooms”

Coffs Harbour is about halfway between Sydney and the Gold Coast. we thought it would be a good place to spend the night on the drive up. The hotel has beautiful surroundings. The rooms, however and dated and somewhat rundown. Our room had a musty smell and the appliances were all very old and mismatched . It appears that the Accor group has recently taken the hotel over and hopefully they will give it a Makeover
