Coatzacoalcos is experiencing a boom - and this includes new hotels. This one is new, people are hungry for occupancy, and provide a very good deal for the price paid. The hotel is well located (at par with others like NH Coatzacoalcos, One), has a shuttle that takes you around - and has a good view of the sea.
Two floor motel built in a square around a central pool with rooms facing in towards the pool. On a main street but the design makes it fairly quiet. Nobody spoke English at checkin or checkout but the process went smoothly.
Safe, clean and had everything I needed for an overnight stop. About 10 minute drive from the main east west toll road. Slightly hard to spot, doesn't have a giant electric sign - I drove past it once, found on the second try.
Reasonable restaurant on site. Industrial area with nothing else within walking distance,
I visited this city to brezk my trip from veracruz to villahermosa. If you are a tourist dont bother stopping here. It is in the heart of the business district and foreigners are not treated in a freindly way. Hotelcstaff were ok but their location is awful. The room was tiny, not spotless. (Hair on floor around toilet). Brekky was ok. I decided not to stay the second night. Nothing to do in that city, it is a commer ial one. The long walk along the beach is in need of concrete repairs, it did not feel safe and thd beach side of the fence is the local tip most of the way. In spanish i found the city 'FEO' the hotel was ok for the price but not for a tourist. There is a hotel zone. I would head there if you have to stay here.
Although the staff was polite, nice and humble the hotel was falling apart. Nightstands completely fell apart after trying to use the plug in the towels are supposed to be white they were tinged brown no wash clothes, bath rug had mold just not a good stay...it is in center of town but it feels very unsafe i was fooled by all the propaganda of downtown beauty..mmmm no beauty at all
