My 3 late teens daughters and I stayed in the The Caernarfon Suite, and we were all very impressed. The hotel was lvely, well kept and clean, and the entry into the split staricase was impressive. The room was huge, and the beds we very comforatable. The a la carte evening meal was excellent, and the full English breakfast was very well done. Staff were very nice and helpful, . My daughter claims her best wake up ever was to the birds singing and sheep baa-ing in the morning. Only minutes crom Conwy castle, and the drive was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Fab hotel. Lovely quiet location but walking distance to village (Rossett) with pubs and restaurant. Short drive to Park and Ride so ideal for shopping in Chester. Our room was an executive room and although a little small it had a separate seating area and wardrobe on the door level and up a spiral staircase to bedroom and large bathroom. Lovely views of gardens and countryside.
Staff very helpful. Reported light bulb not working and it had been replaced by the time we got back from a stroll.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

Stayed in Gingerbread Cottage, slightly away from the main house. Split level with living room and private garden below, kitchen/bathroom in the middle and bedroom above.
Used the pool in the adjacent spa complex, room service and fine dining in the hall on Saturday night.

Helpful staff, wonderful location, four poster beds and a spa. Not bad for £55.
The only downside was the price of dinner. But a 10 minute walk into the town past a wonderful river, one can find lots of places to eat.
relaxing, quiet and a real indulging night away. We arrived in the grounds of the Lodge to a warm welcome by the owners. Coffee and tea, with cake were served and nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to our room and, from there on, we didn't hear any other guests or noise apart from the sound of a couple of chickens. A truly lovely place to stay.
