We had a long weekend in Dublin, this guest house was ideal, very homely and we were made very welcome. It is slightly outside the city near the sea with a number 130 bus at the bottom of the road to take you in and out if the city we had the best if both worlds. I would very much recommend a stay here.

I stayed at Bellgrove for 5 nights and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Paul and Gussie were so hospitable and welcoming- helping with directions, making sure I had change for the bus, calling taxis, making a delicious breakfast, or just being friendly and delightful hosts. It's not downtown, but it is directly on the bus line and €2.60 will get you to the heart of the city in a few minutes. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. The facilities are private so there's no bathroom sharing with strangers. Absolutely wonderful!

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at the Bram Stoker a few weeks ago! Located in Clontarf, a coastal suburb north of Dublin, the Bram Stoker exceeded our expectations. We parked our car for free (you don't want to drive in Dublin!) and went to the registration desk where we found a sign to seek out check-in help at the gastropub out front. Not a problem-- there we found LeeAnn who was the most helpful person we encountered in Ireland. She gave us loads of tips for our stay and was very kind and accommodating. Our kids loved catching the double decker bus just out front for the short commute into the city (with free WIFI) and learning about the history of the Clontarf coast where the famous Viking Battle of Clontarf took place in 1014! The rooms were cosy and clean and the food in the gastropub was delicious. After staying in several hotels across Europe (some fancier than others), my daughter said her favorite was the Bram Stoker because of the overall experience - and I agree.
