Stayed in hotel while visiting with granddaughter in Middlesbrough. Somewhat lengthy drive each day but acceptable. Everything about hotel very nice. Food, cleanliness, front desk staff, especially breakfast service staff. Only issue was hangers in wardrobe (in room 124). Majority of them were bent and would not come off holder. Nearly impossible to hang trousers or shirt on hanger unless you can get it out.
needed a place to stay whilst visiting relatives in the area. found it convenient for all the areas we needed to visit. despite it being on the A19 we didn't find the traffic noise disturbing. unfortunatly the sat nav takes you to the village of dalton pearcy but easy to find if you just head for the A19 and you can't miss it. the carvery is very good value even to the extent that we brought our relations out to join us for the evening and had a great time.
Had to work in Middlesbrough for 10 nights shifts. Booked with ease via expedia. Easy to find location. Checked in with Jim, who was very accommodating through out my stay & in me working nights where he arranged all the bed changing etc around my shifts, without disturbing my sleeping during the day.
Very nice pub & even though I didn't get a chance to try their food, it looked good.
Not too many luxuries in the room (TV etc) however can't grumble for the money, en suite shower/toilet was fine.
Very local to Yarm's high street which is nice place to visit.
Also a one stop convince store right opposite which was well handy for picking up food etc for the night shifts.
I was a little dissapointed on arrival as I had booked the Marine Suite on Line when we arrived we where told the Suite had been given to a wedding party so we had the Searon Suite instead it was ok clean the bed wasn't as comfortable but all in all we had a lovely time I love The Marine Hotel all the staff are really friendly
