“Awesome place to stay when visiting Cleveland's museums.”

The Glidden House is certainly a Cleveland treasure. Its location is perfect for visiting the Art Museum, The Natural History Musuem, The Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and Severence Hall. Its proximity to University Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic, and Little Italy are noteworthy as well. The Gliden House Staff makes one feel welcome, as they address you by name, look you in the eye, and smile. The buffet breakfast is very good. Glidden House is also located near the Euclid Corridor, and therefore, transportation to Downtown is easy.

“Hotel for Royalty!”

The Glidden House is beautiful and the staff was excellent. I felt like I was living in my own mansion. Its location was conveniently near Case Western University, Case University Hospital, the Museum of Art and the Botanical Gardens.

“Can't wait to take my wife”

This is an excellent alternative to those stampbook hotels. Located right in the middle of all the arts and Case Western's campus; it's the perfect place for getting used to Cleveland's best. Sergio's is a small, excellent (expensive) resturant located next door. Free parking, free breakfast and lots of history.

“Glidden House - Great Place to Stay for work or vacation”

This is a beautiful old house that has been turned into a lovely hotel. The hotel is located on the Case Western Campus and is very close to the Intercontinental Conference Center and Cleveland Clinic. The price was great, the room was great and the morning breakfast was great. You have a choice between staying in one of the suites in the original house or one of the rooms in the addition. I am sure the suites are fabulous, but even the rooms in the addition are top notch hotel rooms. You are also located within walking distance to the Fine Art Musuem and I believe a few others. I highly recommend a stay here if you are going to Clevelend for business or pleasure.

“charming small hotel”

Quality experience from lobby to room to abundant European style breakfast. Brazilian theme small restaurant on property. Parking convenient. Walking access to Art Museum and Botanical Museum. Have stayed several times and enjoyed each occasion.

“Great option for Cleveland Clinic!”

We stayed here for an appointment at Cleveland Clinic, and enjoyed it very much! Botanical gardens in walking distance, good breakfast.

“If only for one night, a must for anyone visiting Cleveland”

The Glidden House is one of the most beautiful American hotels we have visited. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the grounds are quite nice. Although we did not have the time to enjoy the nearby attractions, such as the botanical gardens and symphony, it is well worth your time to schedule these places into your visit. In addition, there is a wonderful little restaurant on the Glidden House property. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. There are also a number of wonderful restaurants within a short drive of the hotel. At any rate, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Glidden House. The only negatives we can site are the quality of the mattress and pillows. The bedding itself is rather nice; however, the pillows are average and the mattress a bit below average. Still, both are perfectly comfortable, but in no way reflective of the hotels apparent quality. Upgrading these features would serve the hotel well. Happy trails and enjoy Cleveland

“Wonderful experience would do again”

I wanted to do something special for my nieces before they left for school and we decided to stay in the Cleveland area. The Glidden Inn allowed us to have access to all the museums, wonderful restaurants and Little Italy all within walking distance. The staff was informative and helpful. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. Would do again in a heartbeat.

“Amazing hotel!”

My husband and I thought this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel had such charm and the staff were very pleasant. The rooms were plush and my husband loved the 42" flat screen TV in our room :) Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was very quiet. Only thing that could use an upgrade would be the continental breakfast...it was very basic.

“A Grand Old House”

My wife and I were quite impressed with our stay at the Glidden House. The hotel id beautiful and could not be in a better location (right behind the Cleveland Botanical Garden's glass house on University Circle). We really enjoyed the breakfast, the very comfortable bed with excellent pillows and linens, and of course the huge plasma screen in our room. The grounds are quite nice and there are some cafes and coffee shops close by. One Note: most of the rooms are not in the old mansion (only the suites) the rooms are in a new hotel structure that is built onto the back of the mansion. These rooms are modern, but match the charm and architecture of the mansion quite nicely.
