Closest to Progressive Field

Posted 20-May-2015
Pros: Walking distance from Progrssive Field
Cons: House keeping
Our King bed room was large, but my wife was not pleased with the house keeping. Turns out the VIP parking for $22 is the better option since the parking lots around the hotel charge $50 a day on event days.

Pros: nice pillows
Cons: update rooms; friendlier staff
We asked for and were promised a king sized bed. When we arrived we were told only two double beds were available unless we wanted to wait another three hours

Love Cleveland Gateway Radisson

Posted 03-May-2015
Pros: Great location, great neighborhood
Location: Tons of restaurants, shopping, sports.
Two night stay but great location for never being to Cleveland before. Right in the heart of the city, nice area and can walk everywhere downtown safely.

Only good thing is location

Posted 08-Apr-2015
Both beds were dirty upon check-in Room keys stopped working. Paper-thin walls. No parking on-site. Have to pay $22/day for valet

Beds and pillows are very comfortable.

Posted 08-Apr-2015
Pros: The beds and the walking distance to Public Square and the casino.
Cons: Elevators are exceedingly slow.
Location: We're not into baseball but Qucken Loans Arena is right across the street. The Horseshoe Casino is right around the corner
The only negative is where they mounted the toilet paper holder. It's behind you, far on the left, in a cubicle, under the counter top with the spare rolls stacked tightly underneath the one in use. Very cumbersome.

The Radisson

Posted 06-Apr-2015
Pros: The closeness from the Q Arena, the staff was very kind and courteous.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: We only came to see the game, but we discussed coming back at some point to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
My stay at the Radisson was excellent. I had purchased two basketball game tickets for my husband for Valentine's Day. We live in the Pittsburgh area and since the game was so late ending, we did not want to drive back home that night. I Googled hotels near the Q Arena and The Radisson was the first to come up. On the map it showed the hotel locate about a block from the Q Arena. After arriving we were pleasantly surprised that it was just across the street. The hotel was neat, clean, the staff was very kind and helpful from recommending places for us to eat to assisting us with getting a bottle of wine opened; we forgot our cork opener. It was especially great after the game was over and all we had to do was walk across the street! It does not get any better than that! I will definitely recommend this hotel and come back again. Thank you.Q

Pros: Location, beds
Cons: Breakfast was not included in my Expedia reservation and that's OK but......1 price breakfast buffet with no discount for children is a terrible idea
Nice clean hotel in great downtown location near everything and within walking distance of nightlife.
