“Not the worst, not the best, but nicer than most!!!”

This hotel is not a "newly built" building and has some signs of wear and tear, but overall it is very nice. The staff was excellent and the proximity to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, E. 4th Street and Progressive Field was very convenient. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Enjoyed my stay very much!!

“Better than I Expected”

Was in town for one night and had a very nice stay. This was not my first choice but I would stay here again. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I got there at 10 am and they let me check in early. I asked for a river view when I arrived and they cheerfully obliged. The hotel itself is properly marked as 2.5 stars -- few amenities, it's old and shabby and stained but still, everything was clean. there was a fridge, microwave and coffe maker in the room which was very nice. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. They do charge for parking but it's reasonable and allows for in/out privileges. But you might not need your car as the trolley is only a block from the hotel.

“Would stay again!”

The hotel was extremely crowed. We were there for the marathon. There was also a singing competition being held in the hotel. This caused a major backup at the elevators. Even though there were 4 elevators, we waited sometimes up to 10 minutes. We were on the 14 floor and after deciding to take the stairs once, we figured it was worth waiting on the elevator. Otherwise, I was very happy with our stay. We had a beautiful view of the city, the hotel was clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

“Not that impressed”

It's a nice hotel, well located. We thought that the parking was exaggerated (18$), compare to what you could find nearby. The check out is noon, but you can let the car there until 5:00 though. You can walk to the marina, baseball stadium. Cleanliness is ok. Found a hair on a towel(probably left on purpose because the housekeeper can not not have seen it!) everything else was ok.

“Nice downtown location!”

The hotel was convenient to downtown as well as major interstates to get around the area. We had to go to the desk several times for things that weren't "refreshed" when the room was cleaned (soap, shampoo, coffee), but they were always prompt about making it up. The parking garage with in and out privileges was nice (also convenient). We enjoyed our stay!

“An overnight stay”

We were there just for the night and the hotel satisfied all my requirements. We were going to a show at the plaza square theatre and were able to get a shuttle provided by the hotel to the show, which was nice. Lobby was a little chaotic due to a dance team staying that night also. Staff was very nice and friendly and answered all questions we had. The room was what was needed. Walls were thin and could hear a lot of noise going on in the next room. Overall, the stay was nice and would stay there again, if I wanted a location in the downtown area.

“What do you expect?”

I've visited downtown Cleveland a couple of times a year for quite a few years. This hotel is conveniently located to access all of the area, it's an urban downtown hotel. If you're not familiar with downtown urban areas you may think this is not a good area - what do you expect a downtown urban area to be? I've never had nor seen any problems on the street. I like Cleveland downtown, the TownCenter is great. I felt secure parking here, had a clean, comfortable well appointed room (for the cost) and had a nice dinner in the restaurant.

“Good Hotel”

The hotel staff were uniformly friendly, courteous and helpful. It seemed that there were too few wait staff in the breakfast dining room - management controlling payroll? There were a few minor maintenance tweeks needed in the room - light bulbs, a screw loose at the door - but it was otherwise comfortable. Maintenance was responsive in taking care of the problems. I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room but only for a fee. Overall my stay was good but - just as with the airlines and their baggage and other fees - the economic times seem to be driving the hotels to charge for things that I have come to expect to be included like the refrigerator and parking and to do less preventative maintenance until the customer calls their attention to it. I put these things down to management policies. I would stay there again.

“A small vacation in Cleveland”

The girl at the front desk was on the phone the whole time as she was checking us in. she was very short with us, didn't tell us anything about the hotel or surrounding area. breakfast was included with our room purchase, however, we didn't receive our vouchers. (we had to go back the next day and ask someone else about breakfast). we told her we parked in the adjacent hotel lot, she sarcastically said "I wouldn't leave if I were you", and when we asked why, she again sarcastically said "we're busy". She then said something else, but of course, she was talking to the person on the phone, not us. Really was not impressed at all. One morning we left the hotel for over 5 hours, and when we returned, the maid still hadn't cleaned our room. Other than our terrible check in, everything else was fine. the rest of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant downstairs is excellent (both food quality and staff). Hotel is walking distance to attractions, but downtown Cleveland is lack-lustre, and we heard is was not safe at night.
