“Quiet and Wonderful”

We arrived at the Mallard House Inn and found that each room is a "cabin" of its own, equipped with a mini kitchen. It was quiet and wonderful, very comfortable and accomodating. There was a bag of cookies waiting for us on the made up bed, as well as complimentary danishes in the coffee station area. There is a dock overlooking the lake, with ducks and otters and fish. There is a sitting area to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We found that there is a carniceria/taqueria about 2 blocks down on the left that provided us with a wonderful anniversary dinner. Not everyone's style, eating a meal in a grocery store, but for us it was delicious and perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. :)

“Stay elsewhere”

This place was tiny & had a weird smell to it! Not good for the price and front desk staff were not helpful. Would never stay here again.
