“Hidden Jewel”
I needed to be in Astoria by 5am and when I checked the coastal hotels, they were all booked because of the Hood to Coast relay. I checked in the Clatskanie area and found this at a reasonable rate and only 45 minutes out of Astoria. The staff was really amazing and the room honestly looked like no one had ever slept there. VERY comfortable! The next morning at 4am when I was checking out, the night desk person apologized for not having breakfast out ( it didn't start until 6am) -- she ran into the back room and came out with a yogurt, bagel, boiled eggs, and an orange to take with me. Where have you ever seen that before? I will be back if I have to invent a reason!
“Excellent stay for the money”
Great place. I have stayed here many times and I always equate this hotel as to a nice "Best Western" quality.
