“Clarksviile Country Inn”

The hot tub/spa wasn't working for the second time that we have stayed at the hotel and they ran out of towels for the pool but we are able to get some when they came out of the wash.. The staff was very friendly and polite. The breakfest provided is very good. We'd stay again.

“Only One Complaint”

Overall the hotel was very nice to stay at. However, I am allergic to tobacco smoke. Our room was smoke free but the hallways were stifling. My husband said he saw some of the maids smoking near the vending machines which are at the elevators. I don't know the logistics involved in having whole floors that are non smoking but it would be great for people like me.

“Good, but a few little problems to fix”

People working there were friendly, the facility was clean and the breakfast was good. Considering that the hotel was relatively new, our room had wallpaper hanging from corners (appeared to be water damage) and the cooling/heating unit was intermittently giving us trouble - room was a bit musty. Might try another hotel if I go back to that area.

“Not impressed”

We needed a suite with an extra bed, which we booked, however once we opened the sofa bed and unfolded the mattress, we were horrified. We could not allow our 80 year old mother try to sleep on it. Each spring was visible from the surface of the mattress, and the side was ripped open and we could see all the way through the mattress. We had to purchase an additional room which was a huge extra expense, and we could not be as close to our elderly family member as we needed to be.

“Disappointed”

I was overall disappointed compared to other Country Inn and Suites I have seen. The room was a suite and was not setup in a customer friendly way. The area seperate from the bedroom could have had better lighting and furniture. The pullout bed was terrible. Could be better quality. My parents did say the king size bed was very comfortable. I would stay again but not get a suite this time. Breakfast was ok but nothing to brag about.

“The room had the feel of a motel”

I was surprised at the moistness of the room's carpeting and an overall feel of a motel that the room had. The service and hotel as a whole were exactly as I expected. I love Country Inn & Suites brand but I was a little disappointed in this particular property.

“Not impressed”

For the price I expect a certain condition of the hotel. My sheets had hair on them when I checked in and they had to be replaced. The tile in the elevator was broken and unrepaired. There was barely any hot water at 10pm when I took my shower. The outdoor pool was not open.
