“Drained pool on memorial day weekend”

The excuse that managemet gave was that they had to drain the pool due to the recent flood. The wierd part was the flood happened 15 miles away, it had happened 3 wks. prior and the hotel was not even affected by the flood. Just an empty pool, this was a feature that was very important to us and we were there to visit grandchildren and had promised a day at the pool to visit. We left the friday of memorial day weekend and they still had no intention of filling the pool, so maybe, just maybe the pool had always been empty. My daughter lives outside of clarksville, tennessee and she is going to stop by sometime during the summer and see if pool is still empty. If it is she will let me know and they can then quit advertising this perk. Room was ok, normal motel cleanliness, toilet was broken, never could get anyone to even look at it, much less fix it. I would probably use this chain of motel again, just not this particular one next time we visit our grandchildren.
