First of all, in most medieval Spanish cities, don't drive ! The streets are exceedingly narrow, parking is a nightmare and an expensive racket when you find a garage.
Next time we'll fly to the airport southwest of Madrid, take the bullet train to Toledo, take a cab to the Hotel Eurico and walk to a lot of the 103 historical marvels. The hotel was very pleasant with friendly staff. It lost a point on the weak WiFi ("WEE-fee")

When we pulled up to the Fonetcruz in Toledo, we were estatic about the location ...it was in a more quiet area of Toledo and just off the main tourist area (a rare joy in this very tiny city). It is literally steps away from the Cathedral in the middle of the city - and close to anything you'd want to see. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very well maintained. We absolutely would reccomend this hotel -- a gem of Toledo!

Would stay again as hotel staff very helpful & location is great. Reception staff printed tickets for us & found camera I left behind in my room & put in taxi for me. Has tea / coffee making facilities in the room.
The staff was friendly and great, the breakfast was delicious and the room was large and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. The only negative thing about the room was the internet was pretty slow.
Stunning apartments - ultra modern conversion of old building. If you're from UK you'd reckon Kevin McLoud from Grand Designs would be impressed with this place - old & new blend perfectly! Staff friendly - use their restaurant recommendations - 24 alfileritos was fantastic. Take in the main sights of Toledo including the opulent cathedral, and make the effort to walk up the mirador road for a wonderful view back over Toledo. If you like running, good riverside path that goes for miles.
Parking at Mirador Parking is discounted - we used another reviewers directions to get from carpark to hotel which was much appreciated! Take escalators and stairs from carpark. Cross road at Bankia, and go up stairs at start of small alley. Follow small street for 100yds or so, small bar on right side and hotel door on left (not obvious but there is a plaque saying antidote rooms).
We'd stay here again!
