"Ideal for a weekend treat"
Big but friendly hotel, our favourite and ideal for a weekend visit to Glasgow. We had bed and breakfast, the breakfast was something else, but the price of the evening meal put us off, and there are plenty dining options at lower prices within walking distance. Room was big and comfortable. Have been to this hotel a few times now, and will go back again.

"Perfect for exploring the city centre"
I stayed in the 'Lomond' one bedroom apartment for a city break, wanting a change from the usual hotel experience. The instructions given on how to access the property were very clear and I was even sent a map with directions from the station by email. A great time to book as the apartment is brand new and it felt like staying in a show home, the dreamhouse website says the rooms are self styled 5 star apartments and I would agree with that completely. Lots of impressive little touches and the facilities were excellent - huge flat screen TVs in both the living area and the bedroom, gorgeous bathroom. The only things missing were a hairdryer and a bottle opener! Word of warning, if you're unfit like me (!) the room I stayed in is on the second floor and there is no lift, but who wants lifts in period Georgian buildings anyway. The walk up West George Street from the city centre is very steep, so for a more leisurely ten minute walk you may wish to access via Sauchiehall Street then cut across the beautiful Blythswood Square. Looking forward to going back already and very tempted to try their property in Edinburgh too :)

"Radisson Blu Glasgow, UK Jul 2015"
I booked a standard twin room and specified for a quiet spot in the hotel. The reception staff noted this when we checked in. The 1st room we were allocated to was on the 4th floor but faces the road junction by the Glasgow Central train station. I immediately noted the traffic noises. There was one queen-sized bed. The wooden stand for resting luggages on was broken. Shaver sockets in the bathroom has no power. I expected a walk in shower as per Radisson Blu's website description but it was a shower over the bath. We contacted reception for a room change. Within 10 mins we were shown into another room along the same corridor. The bed, luggage stand and power socket issues were resolved but it was still with a over the bath shower. A set of ventilation fans about 8 m beyond our window emitted a constant, low-level noise. We took the room but later discovered the blackout curtain had fallen off its rail on one side. It was fixed after I complained at the reception on two consecutive mornings. There was no shaving mirror. Low water pressure from the shower. Snack bar charges includes >2.00 GBP for 1 Tunnock chocolate wafer. Used the LA Fitness branded gym - well equipped but slightly dated. The hotel is very central - great for catching the train/subway/buses or exploring the city centre. Guests arrived on our 3rd night seemed to be in a football team. The members were seen in reception in their shorts and flip flops. For the price/Radisson Blu I expected better quality.

"Nice location."
We were able to check in early, which was really nice since we had flown all night. We were not pleased with the breakfast buffet. The staff were very pleasant , but the food was not very good.

"Lovely hotel, central location"
Can't get more central than George square. Had executive room. Really lovely room, spacious. Had brilliant closet had ironing board, iron, trouser press and a safe free to use too. Had issue with safe was solved by staff by the time we got back to the room. Lovely fresh breakfast. Only downside was requested a view. Hoping to b able to view George Square but much further along and facing an office block and a bus stop directly beneath us. But had good sound proofing still heard buses but not people outside. Overall lovely experience.

Great location and apartment had nice high ceilings. The hallway/stairway to get to the apartment is quite tired and could do with an upgrade/change and it had a damp smell. Apart from that everything was great.
