Really enjoyed three nights at this hotel. Location is excellent, being near the shops, the Opera House, the main railway station, and the U Bahn. The staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is very friendly. Our room was "just" a standard room but was very spacious, with good lighting (often missing in hotels) and a complimentary minibar with soft drinks and chocolate. We were so pleased to have found this hotel.

Just along from the central station and within a few minutes of the major shopping and the old city. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The shower cubicle was a bit basic - not in function but style - but the bathroom was clean. Beds comfortable. Enough wardrobe space with hangers. Did not try the restaurant. Very pleasant staff. An hotel I would return to if I went to Hannover again.
I liked the Central-Hotel Kaiserhof in Hannover from the moment I arrived. The staff were very friendly, probably the best I've encountered at hotels for many years, and most spoke excellent English.
We arrived well ahead of check-in time to deposit our luggage and then go off on a tour. This was not a problem and when we returned that evening our luggage was already in our rooms. Checking out was equally efficient.
Unusually, the minibar (water, apple juice, beer, nuts) is free and replenished daily.
The dining areas are large and airy, with an option to sit outside, and the menu is extensive. We were very impressed with the food and ate in the hotel on two out of three evenings. And there is a great selection at breakfast time.
