We were amazed to see the hotel looming out of what seemed to be an industrial estate. It was extremely modern in looks and feel, and the front desk staff were very friendly. As a family of 5 travelling for a month around Italy in various hotels and establishments, we had a set budget for each location, and this definitely lived up to its promises. The breakfast was superb - fresh juice made for you on demand, pastries, fruit, and a hot selection of food, including an amazing scrambled egg. The dinner service was slow, which was a shame, but it seemed that for that night they were short staffed, and so I think that they did their best. It was also quite pricey.
I stayed at this hotel in October 2013 for a birthday weekend getaway. Getting to the hotel was fairly easily, 15 minute taxi ride from airport. There are bus stops nearby where you can catch a bus to the city centre. While the buses did take some time to arrive, the journey to the city centre was just about 10 mins and from there, you could pretty much walk to key sites like the Leaning Tower, etc. The hotel is located in a residential area, so it was very quiet around and felt very safe. There weren't too many guests at the hotel itself when we visited, which was also a plus since you didn't feel as if you were competing for space, which is sometimes the case when it's full of people. Breakfast was fairly varied, reasonable range of breads, cheeses, fruit. We tried dinner at the hotel 1 night and it was exceptional! Ravioli and the fish in particular. Kudos to the chef.
The cost of the package (flight and hotel) was also quite good and we were really happy, especially since breakfast was included.
My only grouse was that the buses did not run frequently. Also, in order to go to Florence, we had to take a bus to the city centre, then one to the airport, where you got the coach to Florence. I didn't anticipate that but it's perhaps because I didn't do sufficient research beforehand.
All in all, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Contemporary hotel in the busy district of Cisanello, two kilometres from Piazza dei Miracoli and its famous leaning tower …More
We chose to stay at Betania, due to its rating and location, and we were not disappointed. The double rooms are a bit small, but they do have balconies. We stayed in a twin room which does not have a balcony, but does have a slightly larger shower. The rooms are decorated well and cleaned daily, towels are very thin and the TV only has about six working stations and they are all Italian. Wi-Fi is very good and available on every floor and is free. Breakfast consists of differing types of coffee and tea, and a warm croissant and two small buns each, some ready-made packaged toast with butter and preserves including chocolate, we found it very satisfying and filling. Evening meal is €12 and offers good heart-warming original Italian cooking, choose from 4 starters and main course choice of 6, desert is fruit, apple, orange etc. Wine beer or water is available as an extra charge, we found the food superb and ate at the hotel a lot during our stay.
