“Lovely hotel in Cinque Terre”

We really enjoyed this hotel. Clean, simple and elegant with good service. Breakfast was good also.

My comment about "Beautiful, Friendly Italy" is a lot of feeling in so few words - our recent visit went so well and we thoroughly enjoyed both Lake Maggiore and Cinque Terre - the latter was achieved with the help of the staff of Punta Mesco and the ambience of this 3-Star hotel (worth a higher rating?). Everyone was so willing to help in any way you requested. Thank you - Tante Grazie.

“Loved it so much I went back”

I stayed at Punta Mesco in November 2002 when studying abroad for a semester. I arrived around midnight in the off-season and luckily ran into the owner of this hotel near his restaurant. I was happy to find Punta Mesco again in my search for hotels in Monterosso a few months ago. Although not on the water, the location is wonderful and very close to the beach, restaurants and train station. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is included and very good. Throughout all of my travels in Europe this is by far my favorite place. Despite the large difference in the conversion rate between the USD and the Euro from 2002 to 2011, my stay in May 2011 was just as good as when I stayed in November 2002. I highly recommend Punta Mesco to anyone. I can't wait to plan another trip back to Cinque Terre!

We really enjoyed this motel and would stay there again. The breakfast was included and was amazing, not your ordinary breakfast. The people were friendly and very helpful, It really helped that they spoke english, and were patient with our limited italian.

“Very happy with our stay”

Friendly, clean and an excellent location. Breakfast was exceptional. Diego was very helpful and made our stay complete. Bathroom was small and a little tough to navigate for two at times but it would not stop us from coming back! The hotel was a short walk from the train station, laundry, several restaurants and a really good gelatoria! Punta Mesco is the place to stay in Monterosso.

Very helpful staff, very clean hotel, close to supermarket, station and in a great little beach town. My favourite of the five Cinque Terre towns.

“Good experience; would recommend”

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful; we arrived at check-in before the room was ready and they let us leave our bags in the dining area while we walked around. Even more helpful was the fact that, when we learned about a pending train strike, the staff allowed us to check out one day early without any penalty. Overall a great experience and recommended.
