Caribana offers a total of 10 accommodations: 3 Grifone rooms, 3 De Batte rooms, 1 Sol room, 2 Levante rooms, and 1 Manuela studio. All properties except the Sol and Levante rooms are located in the historic center of Riomaggiore. The Sol and Levante rooms are located on the more modern side of Riomaggiore (but within close walking distance to the historic center).
Our Grifone rooms are located in the same building as our office and can sleep up to three persons per room. Each room has a queen-size bed (that can be split, please contact us after booking if you'd like to request this), a fold-out single bed, a private bathroom with shower, mini fridge, mini safe and A/C. The three Grifone rooms are side-by-side so they are a great option for those traveling with others and wanting to stay close. There are no sea views from the Grifone rooms.
Our DeBatte rooms are located on a characteristic "carrugio" (medieval lane) just steps from the main Street of the village. The three rooms are located in the same building but on three different floors. Each room offers a queen-size bed (two also offer a single bed), private bathroom with shower and mini fridge. Please note that there are no sea views from the De Batte rooms and there will be steep stairs required to climb in order to reach the rooms. A/C is not offered.
Our studio Manuela is self-contained and offers a kitchenette for simple cooking. The studio offers a queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower and three windows looking out onto the hillside and seaside. Please note that there are steep stairs required to climb in order to reach the studio. No A/C is offered.
Our Sol room is located on the more modern side of Riomaggiore and is side-by-side with our Levante rooms (so a great option for groups that want to stay close to one another). The Sol room offers a queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower, A/C, and a balcony with full sea views.
Our Levante rooms are located on the more modern side of Riomaggiore and are side-by-side with our Sol room. Each Levante room offers a queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower and A/C. Please note that the Levante rooms do not offer any particular view.
Please note that due to the unique geography of the Cinque Terre and Riomaggiore, there will be stairs to climb regardless of where you stay in the village.
Arrival by car is possible (though arrival by train is much more convenient and economical) but keep in mind that if you'd like to reserve a parking space with us for 10 Euro per day you will need to contact us after booking so we can explain the limitations (the spaces are limited and book out quickly). Contact information can be found in the confirmation email received after booking via this website.
