“Very Nice -- Great Location”
My husband and I had gone to Cincinnati for the weekend as a "goof off" trip. The hotel is a bit hard to find. We were looking for Hawthorn Suites and the signs still said Arcadia Suites. The hotel had a big vinyl banner on the front that said Hawthorn Suites, but as the hotel sits a couple of streets back from the main street, it was a bit tricky. Thank heavens for Tom Tom!! The location of the hotel was great, being only a few miles down the interstate from the new Premium Outlet Mall. The hotel was also very near a large mall and other shopping venues. The hotel was very nice and looked like it had been newly renovated with new carpet. The desk staff was very friendly and check in was quick. The room was large and featured the amenities of a real kitchen (which we really didn't need because we were just there for the weekend), with a cooktop, microwave, full sink and full refrigerator. The price of was great, though, which is why we chose that hotel. THE BED IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and that was our biggest complaint with the hotel. The heat/air in the room was hard to get adjusted, too. The breakfast was okay as breakfasts go featuring eggs and sausage and the usual continental breakfast fare, though there are no tables and chairs to sit on. There is a couch and chair there and it wasn't crowded, so we sat there and ate from our laps. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, hard bed or no. Like I said, the location was great.
