“Convenient location”
Stayed overnight while in town for a wedding. The hotel is easy to get to off of I-71 and was convenient to the wedding in Blue Ash which we attended. We've stayed here before and will again in the future.

“Good, but not great.”
Designed for family and business travel, Clarion met most expectations well. Two minor disappointments, though. One of the bedside lamps could not be plugged in, so nighttime reading for one of us didn't happen. And on Mother's Day, the continental breakfast was cut short in favor of the paid brunch, which left us with only an orange or banana to munch on.
“great service but a bit inconvenient”
The hotel is located behind a Bob Evans restuarant and a gas station so it isn't in the best location. At check-in everything was in order and I was in & out in less than 2 minutes. The hotel is a bit disjointed because it is actually an older hotel with renovations and additions made to the original building. So in other words it looks they took an old hotel and incased it inside a newer larger hotel, very odd looking to say the least. So it you can get over how the hotel looks it is a great place to stay. My room was clean and neat albeit a little on the small side. The breakfast was outstanding with the best service I've had in 3 years at a hotel restuarant. Then again on checkout the process only took one minute for me to be on my way. So all in all it was a good place to stay. I'd go back.
“questionable”
Guest service was lacking when we checked in. The first room we were given had no heating unit working. They moved us to the room next door, however, no manager on duty, so we needed to return to the front desk to exchange keys. Lots of noise the second night as staff was trying to fix a door nearby. Overall, surprised at the size of the room--small.
“Alright stay”
The stay was just alright. The room was nice the beds, sheets and bathroom was clean. They did forget to vaccume. However, I should have known when we received ear plugs in the room that it would be a noisy night. Not to say that all the rooms were noisy but we were by the ice machine. Therefore, we were aweaken several times through the night. But other than that it was a comfortable stay in a nice environment.

The rooms were clean, but needed some improvements. The bathroom was in need of small repairs. The dresser was in poor condition. Only very few TV channels and no channel for children such as Disney or Nickelodean. Restaurants were hard to locate unless you are familiar with the area with the exception of the Bob Evans in the same lot.
“Service Lacking”
The overall appearance of the hotel and room was nice; however, the service was much less than stellar. The bed linens were dirty...with obvious makeup on one pillow and something chunky and extremely gross on the other and what looked like a blood stain on the inner blanket. When the front desk staff was alerted, the man I spoke with never once offered an apology. He sent up extra pillow cases....that was it! The front desk had to be called three times to bring up items that housekeeping did not restock. Only two towels were left when four of us were staying in the room and the coffee was not restocked. Therefore, other than the unique pool, this hotel was the pits! The problems with service and cleanliness caused much aggravation. Upon checkout, they offered an apology with a very nonchalant attitude. My family and I will not be back.
“Had to check the pillows for hair....”
When I got into my room the coffee pot still had coffee in it, some of the towels were stained with brown spots, and my TV remote didn't work. That made me pretty nervous about the cleanliness of the rest of the room that I'd be sleeping in. The bed was too hard for me, but so hard that you wake up feeling like you were hit by a bat on your hip and shoulder, so that's a plus. The pillows felt like they were stuffed with cardboard. To their credit, when I called the front desk about the coffee pot and remote they had staff up there with new ones w/in 10 minutes to replace them. I also enjoyed the wireless internet capability.
“Not Impressed won't use again”
This was definitely not a three star motel more than likely a 1 star
