Cover up

This hotel has undergone renos but it's mostly a cover up. An aging hotel and I'm disappointed with the price I paid to stay there.

RUN AWAY!!!

Posted 18-Jul-2014
The building is crumbling, and the parking lot is filled with overgrown weeds. Please note: I did not pay and stay because I was told my CONFIRMED reservation had been cancelled. After overselling the rooms, General Manager Albert Bashir decided to put Expedia customers out on the street. I was appalled that the staff cancelled a confirmed reservation; however, I was even more shocked by the condition of the property. THIS HOTEL IS 1 STAR AT BEST!

Dingy on the inside!

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Cleanliness, functionality of elevators and ventilation system.
Location: Not sure.
Although the hotel looks chic on the outside, it is quite run down & dirty on the inside. Of three elevators, only one was in working order meaning we were forced to use the stairs with heavy bags. Our room was not clean, had not been vacuumed, and there was not enough linen for the number of registered guests. The crowning blow was that the AC was "locked" into position and was not at all adjustable so the room was extremely hot and stuffy despite a loud and laboring fan. None of us got any sleep that night! This is not a hotel we would recommend.

Not a grand experience.

Arrived at the hotel pretty late in the evening so we didn't visit the water park area at first. We awoke early enough to go enjoy the water park to find it closed until 10am and checkout was 11am. We thought we had about an hour to play to find out that our package DID NOT INCLUDE THE WATER PARK!! EXPEDIA DID NOT CORRECTLY ADVERTISE THE PACKAGE!! BEWARE WHEN YOU PURCHASE! Also, the rooms were nicely decorated, however, the room was not well kept. Our shower head would not move at a and the floor got soaked while showering (ducking into the corner) so the water would actually hit you. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Waste of money and time.

Disappointed

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Rooms not ready on time, 1 out of 3 elevators worked. Floors not vacuumed. Not enough towels for 4 people. Some staff very rude. This is the first time Expedia let us down. This was rated as 3 and half stars, no way.

21 is 21

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Cons: math skills of the front desk
My son and a friend made reservations at this hotel and was very poorly treated upon arrival. My son is 21, and has been 21 since April 2014. At check-in, the desk clerk asked if he was 21 or "just" 21. What the heck does that mean? 21 is 21....even if he arrived on his birthday, he's still 21. this was an issue until someone with some common sense determined, that.....surprise, surprise....21 is 21. I will not go to that hotel again...period. There was no reason to hassle him just because he's a few months past 21.

Downhill in 6 years

My husband and I stayed at this hotel when it still had its Flag, back then it was a Sheraton. It was very nice, so when the deal came up on Expedia, I was pleased to be going back. I was disappointed and will not return to this hotel. I think maybe it would be okay if you were going specifically for the waterpark, but we didn't. The front desk staff in the evening were tripping over themselves, not knowing what the other person was doing....trying to check me in twice. There were little things in the hotel room that you expect that were not there... The room did not come with a guest services book. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, there were no stirring sticks to go along with the coffee and the coffee pot. There was 1 glass, but no ice bucket. It just seemed to be a lot of little things that added up. We also stayed on the 5th floor at the end of the hall and seemed to have some trouble with the "neighbors" thinking they were staying in our room instead of their own. The AC wasn't working correctly, it smelled like it was overheating and you weren't able to turn the thermostat down or up or even off. We will not return to that hotel.

This could be a great place...but...

Pros: The price
There are a lot of things that need to be fixed before I would give this a positive review. The air conditioning wasn't working properly when we got there, bath mats being brought into the pool area as towels because they kept running out, door key not working properly, shower worked and then didn't, hotel staff suggested that I Google the nearest store as they had no idea, coffee not refilled. Most of these things were just little irritants, but when you're road weary, you don't want to deal with all of these things. I've never had to contact the front desk so many times in one stay. I have to say though that it was clean and the staff really tried to accommodate. There just shouldn't be that many problems, and by the conversations at the front desk, I wasn't alone.

Terrible hotel and hotel staff

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: Nothing!!
Cons: The cleanliness, the staff .... Everything
Location: The location was fine since Malls and shops were not far.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I drove into the parking lot of the hotel. All I could say was how dare they call this a resort. People were hanging out, cars were double parked, a cloth sign saying Raddison was drapped over the original name on the billboard outside the hotel. When I got inside, I learned that my room was not ready. It was already after 4 and check in is at 4. The staff finally gave me a room and it was dirty, smelly and there was a twin bed. The staff was rude when I returned to the front desk to ask for another room. The second room was not much better. There were shoes/flip flop and toys left under the bed by the last occupants. I did not shower since it looked so gross. I washed in the sink but did not want to use their wash cloths since they were so dingy looking. I can go on but I am running out of space. Do not choose this hote.
