Pros: I liked the free shuttle to King's Island.
Cons: The hallway smelled like smoke.
It was good for a one night stay with the kids. We went to King's Island, so the location was good. It was in walking distance from a waterpark called The Beach (we did not go there). There were plenty of places to get food in walking distance.

Disappointing hotel

Posted 12-Aug-2014
Pros: Getting out.
Location: There are several restaurants to go to that are near by.
Although the hotel was close to the tennis center (Western and Southern Masters Tennis tournament, the hotel was experience was not one I would recommend. The hotel listed as non smoking, but both rooms we were placed in smelled like a Hooka bar. The bathrooms were in need of repair, the mattress must have been several years old as there was a large dip in the center and we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. There was so much noise on the floor above us, I finally had to go out and ask the manager to go up stairs and ask them to stop yelling, running and jumping up and down.

Needs some attention

Posted 11-Aug-2014
The room was very muggy, even with the air conditioning and it wasn't even that hot out. A few cosmetics updates, but overall in need of attention. Seems cheap. Need high chairs and lids/straws to accommodate children at breakfast. Our room was not cleaned during our 2 night stay.

close to the interstate and kings island.

Posted 05-Aug-2014
Pros: beds were comfortable
Cons: eye seeing maintenance in the room. especially the bathroom.
Location: kings island, restaurants, golfing, the beach water park and shopping
The hotel needs maintenance. Room was comfortable and air conditioner works well. No bed bugs were spotted in my own inspection. The breakfast was over crowded and people were fighting for food. Perkins was across the street and a better variety. Burnt toast caused the fire alarm to go off so we woke up to an evacuation after visiting late in the night with friends it wasn't the best way to wake up.

Cheaper alternative near King's Island

Posted 04-Aug-2014
Pros: Value for the money and proximity to King's Island.
Cons: Upkeep of pool area.
For the price, this was a decent option over other, more expensive hotels near King's Island. The rooms were a nice size and seemed very clean. The breakfast was good in terms of quantity/selection, the only downfall was that there was not very much room in the dining area. Get there early for seating. Also, our kids loved the pool area, but when we went early in the morning, it had not been cleaned up or re-stocked (towels, etc.) yet.

Should be shut down!

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Seeing hotel from exit ramp, appeared dirty and worn down. Walking in the front desk was dirty and cluttered. It appears as the owners live and treat hotel as their home. Traveling with 6 kids between 2 rooms, we were given 2nd floor rooms. Upon lugging in all our luggage, informed the elevator was broken. Room was digusting and smelled like cheap cologne was poured in room to cover smoke smell. Sink had cigarette burn marks, same as toliet seat and burn holes in carpet. Room was next to stairwell, so woke up each time someone trekked upstairs and slammed door shut. Breakfast is included but after seeing condition of hotel and kitchen choose to go elsewhere. They also offer shuttle to king's island, but it's only offered 4x/day at set times. Wish I could attach pictures of the room. If I could have canceled and gotten money back, I would have!
