Really nice Hotel. Our stay was relaxing.

Posted 27-Jul-2015
My first impression was Wow! This hotel looks dingy. Due to the sun washed paint on the windows. The smell of chlorine in the lobby was very prominent. Overall, or stay was nice. We would return and recommend to others.

Going to Kings Island?

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: Close to Kings Island the right amount of clean.
Cons: I feel like the gouged on the price. $150 a night. This should be a $100 a night room.
Location: Restaurants and Kings Island.
Going to Kings Island? Stay here. Very close to restaurants and the park.

Convenient to location

Convenient location. But way over priced. Anywhere else it would be equivalent to a $49 room. Don't waste your time at the breakfast buffet included.

Decent to stay if going to Kings Island

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Fair price
Cons: updates and cleanliness, scrub mold off tile in bathroom
Location: Kings Island, and water park close by
Front desk check in was very nice. Hallways showed dirt in corners, crumbs all pushed up against the walls in corners that needed cleaned and in the bathroom there was mold growing on the grout around the bathtub tile. Bed was comfortable. We chose to stay here because it was one of the only hotels which offered a shuttle to Kings Island. Price was decent to stay if you want to spend your money at Kings Island. Shuttle was supposed to leave at certain hours, we signed up to leave at 5pm. An employee came outside at 5pm to smoke and we asked her if the shuttle was ready to leave and she said she would have to look for the driver and took another ten minutes to find him. At the end of the evening at midnight the shuttle was promptly at Kings Island to pick us up, but as we waited in the shuttle for other guests to possibly show up to ride back the shuttle driver proceeded to complain about another guest the day before in a story that seemed like it took an hour to tell, then he proceeded to tell us his life history of employment. It was midnight and we had been at Kings Island for 7 hours and just wanted to get back and take a shower and go to bed. Over all average hotel to stay at, could use updates and a good thorough cleaning and vacuuming.

Good place to stay for one night.

Posted 19-Jul-2015
It's a good place to stay for visiting other places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They actually make the hotel a better place to stay than nicer hotel with an ok staff.

Nice hotel close to kings island.

Posted 14-Jul-2015
This hotel isn't the greatest, but it's nice for the money. Our light in the bathroom went out early in the morning. There was shorts and a sock that was not ours behind the dresser and a few fruit loops under the dresser which makes me wonder how long it's been throughly cleaned. At breakfast there was no butter which I couldn't figure out since they had breads biscuits bagels etc. regardless I'd still stay again because it wasn't terrible and there's a pool and fitness room and it's really close to kings island and restaurants. the staff was nice as well had no problems with them.

Wonderful hotel close to 2015 National Dance Comp.

Posted 13-Jul-2015
This hotel was run like a well organized family reunion and had the wonderful feel of a family gathering throughout my stay. The family that ran this hotel really went out of their way to make us feel wanted and appreciated. The various family members that I encountered were engaging, thoughtful, cheerful and helpful to say the least. While the hotel is old, it was always clean no matter the time of day or night. Our requests for extra towels and a roll away bed were fulfilled almost instantly with a smile and a thank you. Most importantly, it was reasonable priced and was very close to the event location (Mason High School for Cathy Roe's Ultimate 2015 National Dance Competition) and Kings Island Amusement Park in Mason, Ohio. I strongly recommend staying there!!!!! Respectfully Submitted, William L. Davis, Attorney & Counselor at Law, Lexington, KY.

Great

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Pros: It was clean. Staff was friendly when we checked in.
Cons: Breakfast area was a little crowded.
Location: It is near a lot of food places and really close to Kings Island.
Our stay was great. Will be back again. I was nice and clean the check-in staff were really nice. I did not like that you had to wait to check in until 4 but they let us check in a bit early.
