This was an excellent hotel in an excellent location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was when went for breakfast on our third morning and gave our room number as we were about to take our seats the waiter approached us to say we were not able to have breakfast as it was not part of our package.We were on half board basis.To be fair he was as discreet as you could be in front of a dining room of customers but it was a little embarrassing as he then had to check with reception and to be fair apologised profusely.One more little gripe,we were then charged a second time for our half board on check out having paid for it on checking in.This was fixed up only on production of our receipt and was not the fault of the receptionist who said she was working on orders from her manager. I hope this report is only seen by Expedia or the hotel as we had a wonderful time in Prague and it was a very good hotel and we would return there again.
Excellent location. the Hotel was super and a great value. Stayed in room at the end of the hall and the double windows made the room almost silent to any outside noise. Will revisit Prague and Buddha Bar hotel again for sure!
Stayed for 3 nights (thurs, fri & sat). First night in the annex building, but found this too noisy, lots of stairs, didn't feel I was staying in a hotel, noisy pub on the other side. Spoke to lovely gent on reception the next morning and said how unhappy I was with the room and the noise, he immediately apologised and seemed genuinely upset, he looked through for room availability and came up trumps! The gent said we were to pack our case leave it in the room and another member of staff would move it to our new room by the time we came back from our sightseeing. He moved us into the main building and this was a huge improvement, this was the hotel I was expecting from the outset. I would definitely return to this hotel, but only if it was in the main building.
Old building with historic character maintained (renovated) but modern amenities added. Ideal situation for old town exploration. The included buffet breakfast is across the street in a medieval cellar. Staff ( English speaking) was very responsive in ordering taxis, setting up tours, exchanging money, giving directions, and helping use the room safe.
Great location, close to everything but my room was quiet. The hotel is just a few minutes to Old Town main square. All other hotels in this area are very expensive so its a great value. Excellent breakfast, it was more like a brunch. Very helpful staff. Some common areas need a little renovation. Overall I had a great experience and will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
