The hotel is located amazingly right in one corner of Aristotelous Square, right in the heart of Thessaloniki, and in close proximity to the historic sites, the posh shopping area and bunch of nice restaurants.
The parking situation is very poorly organized, you need to park your car in a parking garage nearby, where you are asked to pay 13 euro per day after some supposed discount. This is of course not communicated during the booking process, and not included in the room price. The hotel however allows some insolent Bulgarian-registered cars to park in front and it was only because of the police that these cars were finally removed, only to be seen again at the same place the next day. If there are parking rules the hotel needs to enforce them for all guests of the hotel equally, and not to discriminate against guests. Not to mention that the cars were blocking the small way towards the hotel for many hours without any intervention from the hotel management.
The rooms with the sea view have an excellent view towards the square and the sea, and are much better than the rest. The rooms are clean albeit a little outdated and in need of some refreshing. The rooms are also a bit on the small side for a five star hotel, but on the other hand have balcony overlooking the sea, which makes it up for the small size.
Overall, the hotel's excellent location makes it a good choice for a city tourism and there are wonderful beaches only 40 min away by car.
This hotel was amazing! It could not have been in a better location for anything in Thessaloniki. The staff could not do any more for you. We stayed 16 nights and wish we could have stayed even longer!

My room was a little old, the floor was not in the best shape, but the bed and bathroom were both very comfortable. The location was perfect, I was so close to so much. And the staff was super friendly! Thank you, Elsa, especially!

We enjoyed our stay very much - good hotel in a good location. Breakfast included in room rate and was very nice
Would recommend a walk to the restaurants turn left when you walk out the front doors then first left then first right - walk fun about 200 metres and you are in restaurant heaven. Hotel staff were excellent but sent us to city centre which was very crowded and lots of cheap eateries - typical if most town centres
Room was on the small side but we made do quite easily
