“Fabulous find”

This B&B was everything we could have hoped for! Great location, comfortable and very clean rooms, charming but with all modern amenities. The breakfast is delicious and the management even offers cool drinks and coffee and tea throughout the day. Nothing is overlooked, and just steps away from the art centre and the stunning botanical gardens.

“Can't beat it”

I have to admit that I was a little dubious of all the 5* ratings this hotel had received but I now understand how they came about. It is really great, we only had a 2 night stay but wish they'd had space for a third, perfect location, friendly owner and staff, great breakfast, very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The photos don't do it justice. Treat yourselves it really deserves its 5*.

“Location, Location , Location”

The Classic Villa's is located in the arts district of Christchurch 1 Km from the Catherdal in one direction and only 500m to the Avon River and there very English Punt and only 300m in the other direct to the Musuem and Botanic Gardens. Great Location! Rooms have all modern conveniences and they have a fantastic help yourself breakfast in the spotless communal kitchen included in your tariff. They will cook you a breakfast for a small charge if you wish. Nothing was too much trouble for Anna and the staff and we intend to stay there again on our next visit.

“Classic Villa is wonderful !!!”

Location is only a bloock from central downtown. The downtown, however, is fenced off due to earthquake damage. We ate a at "Cooking with Gas" just two doors away ... superior food and drink! Breakfast at Classic Villa was full service with fruits, breads, cereal, coffee, tea etc. Very clean and nice hotel. Short walk to the park.

“Up and coming...”

When we arrived in Christchurch- later than expected, the cab driver didn't even know where we were talking about when we told him where we were staying. Upon arrival we were more than please with what we found- the owners were extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was excellent and we were so happy to have found the Villa! We're returning in a month to stay there again because we were so happy with our first visit. I would personally recommend to any of my family/friends so therefore, I confidently write this review for expedia.

“Can't wait to go back”

Free parking, great buffet breakfast, free internet, the room was really nice, it feels like you're in a classic italian villa of the 1800s. Great stay, I will definitely go back in the future.
