“Well pleased”

The Ibis was great value for money and in a perfect location for getting around the city with a 10 year old child - handy to the trams and buses and quick eating facilities. Only downside was roadworks going on right outside but this was to allow extension of the tram tracks for future services so not really an issue.

“great hotel at a bargain price”

All aspects of this hotel were as good as, if not better than, other hotels we stayed at that were twice the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were modern, clean and functional. We were very impressed. It's rare to find such good value for money these days.

“Good budget hotel”

We stayed at ibis Christchurch for a week last month and it was great. The hotel was better than I expected as I paid budget price. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is veer conveniently located just behind cathedral square and in the heart of the vita. The only dampener was the road and co striation work due to the earthquake making it hard to walk and drive but it is a natural disaster which the hotel had no control over. If you want to stay in comfort on a buffet, I would reccommend Ibis.
