Wonderful hotel........staff, room and service above expectations

We stayed three nights at the All Seasons Hotel and were impressed with the comfort and service. We had booked a standard room but were upgraded to a small suite on the ground floor in a newer wing and could park our car outside the door which was very convenient. Although the decor is slightly dated, the room was spotless, warm and very comfortable, with a good bathroom. We had breakfast at the hotel on two mornings and dinner on two evenings. The breakfast selection is basic but quite adequate. Our two dinners were fantastic, great food, reasonable price and excellent service. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel on Papanui Road is extremely convenient and I can highly recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay in Christchurch. We enjoyed our stay very much. - BrisbaneTraveller2

“GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY”

We were very happy with our stay at the all seasons - Christchurch, staff were friendly, rooms were great especially with 2 queen beds, and towels were nice and thick. No microwave or toaster was the only thing I would have liked, but for the price very good rooms

“Great value for money”

OUr stay was much better than we thought the price was amazing and we thought it was probably too good to be true. We were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor overall was a little tired but the staff were amazing - it was a week after the earthquake and the aftershocks were still regular but everyone was positive and friendly. Handy to town and walking distance to Merivale. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for just the one night as we had come to town to see Robin Williams. Now it seems to be part of the accor hotels group and it seems to have taken up the best of that groups values, with what appears to be a good bar and restaurant - though we were surprised the bar was shut at 10.30 on a Saturday night when we returned for a drink. We found another bar 100m up the road however. The room was spacious and well lit. There was a note about the recent earthquake and continuing aftershocks delaying minor repairs, but apart from a loose window catch and a problem with the hall carpet, I didn't see any problems. The hotel will also arrange a shuttle to the airport if you let them know in advance ($21 for 2 people). Very comfortable.
