Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in the Dover room which was on the top floor. Such a good use of space with everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Lovely updated en-suite and excellent furnishings in the bedroom. Breakfast was one of the best I'd ever had, really tasty. There was car parking which was very useful and a lovely suntrap of a garden.
So pleased we stayed at this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

The hotel was really lovely. Very nice, modern room and bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and quite good, however I'm not a fan of buffet style hot food as it never tastes great.
My evening meal at the hotel was excellent, only problem was it took 30 mins after being seated for someone to take my order. Despite this, my meal arrived very quickly.
My only complaint is that my room was serviced despite the "do not disturb" sign being placed on the door. When mentioned at checkout, I was informed that that was their policy as sometimes guests forget to remove the sign. I feel this is completely unacceptable.
From arrival everything was excellent. The manicured gardens, the personal reception by the General Manager, the common areas, our room ... Then came dinner ... and breakfast ... and tea ... everything superb.
We are well travelled. We have been in several countries of South America, Central and North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and in very good hotels. Buckland Manor is among the very best.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cross Keys Cottage. Stow-on-the-Wold is such a beautiful and quaint little village, and the Cottage is a perfect place to unwind and take a break from the stresses of city life. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms and bathroom immaculate. The hosts, Roger & Margaret, are so nice and accommodating, and they really put the exclamation point in staying at this B&B. We highly recommend Cross Keys cottage and give it a 5 star rating. Thank you for an awesome experience in our first time to England Roger and Margaret and take care!
