We spent five nights on Lake Como in September. Hotel La Villa is very well maintained. The room was spotless and comfortable. We had a room on the second floor with balcony and lake view, which was gorgeous. The owner and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time there and definitely would recommend this hotel .
We had a wonderful experience once we found the Hotel. It's very difficult to find as all navigation systems with the exception of Apple Maps, takes you Dow tight alleyways that do not get you to the Hotel.
We are a family with 2 kids and also went with two more adult friends. We rented an apt with room for 6. Fabulous apt! Domaso is a nice town, but not as trendy as say Bellagio, but nice and close to such -- we took boat to other towns. Hotel is a bit "hidden" but ultimately it does not matter at all. Pool is nice. Had play room for kids too near main lobby.
Renovated in 2007, this 17th-century villa offers stylish and modern self-catering apartments, an outdoor pool and a lovely …More
My partner and I just spent 6 nights in the 'room only' part of the complex underneath the 9 apartments, this doesn't have a kitchen or balcony but is still very comfortable and clean with a lovely view, fridge and table and chairs. The pool area is excellent and Sara is very very very helpful on arrival and checkout.
This hotel has the potential to be truly 5* with amazing location. However, it let's itself down in the details; cleanliness could be better, but most annoying was the many and varied signs telling us NOT to do this, that or the other! Quite unnecessary...
The restaurant is good value, if a little limited but isn't associated with the hotel so we couldn't charge to our room as we expected.
I would recommend and would probably return, but with expectations set appropriately.
This hotel is right on front of the main road, all rooms are exposed tuo traffic noise all
night long. Mostly truck drivers stop there, rooms are small, bathroom clean sheets were ok. Now if you expect just a minimal bed and you do not mind the traffic this is for you.
You should know some italian since english is not a language they handle, still the staff try
