I booked this hotel because it came up in a search for pet friendly hotels but when I arrived I discovered it actually wasn’t. The Expedia agent I spoke to was very helpful and was able to get me a refund, but it caused a major issue upon my arrival at my destination as I had to scramble to rebook a room elsewhere.

I was hesitant about the hotel due my memory about the homeless population in the past.... To my surprise, it has been cleaned up very nicely. The rooms were clean and cozy, they had a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. I like the shower layout. It's roomy with good water pressure. I will definitely stay here again. Great job on turning this place around!

I stayed here just over a week, a journalist on a reporting trip. We don't ask for much—quiet, a comfortable bed, clean quarters. I found all that and more; a car hole. Not quite a garage, not quite a carport it allowed me to back my car in and unload equipment and stay dry the day it rained. And everyone who worked here was incredibly nice. And there's a pancake robot and coffee to get a reporter out the door and on the road without stopping for breakfast. Thanks!

I stay at Rodeway inn at least twice a month. They are always accommodating me and making sure my stay is as pleasant as possible. They now offer pancakes for breakfast which are amazing. Highly recommend. JB

We had a great time and this is a very nice hotel. It is walking distance to downtown. It gets very cold in the bathroom if the door is closed so we made sure to leave it open. The pancake maker was one i had never seen before. We will be staying here again if we go to Chico, which is a wonderful town!

Kent mgr was very helpful, i liked my handicap room. I very much liked the handrail and ramp. The one drawback was a very slow internet. The maid service was very good and trustworthy.

Never Disappointed
I have been staying at the Rodeway Inn for several years now.I’m always impressed! I sincerely appreciate Kents time and attention to accommodate me. The rooms are always well kept and the Management is a fair and respectful man. The grounds are well kept ,gated , and safe. It's a great place to catch up on some well needed rest and recharge. In my opinion the value unbeatable for any other hotels in this price range.

The rooms are remodeled and very clean. Nice authentic mexican food right next door, as well as a gas station. Sierra Nevada brewery is right down the road, along with other shops. The staff is very polite and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Best bang for the buck

I left after just an hour. I did not feel safe due to the behavior of the other guests at the hotel. The towels smelled like mildew and the bathroom fan did not work properly. There was no smoke detector. Very uncomfortable. I would advise not to stay here.

We have traveled for approximately 4 weeks across the US and BC. This property was without question the best we've experienced for needs and budget. They were exceptionally polite and inviting. I would without question recommend the property as well s the city of Chico.

Wow! This place was a residential motor court many years ago and was really down market. They have done a fantastic job of rehabbing the place. Very modern, clean and well run.
