Loved the location and breakfast and evening buffet. I ate most of my meals there during my stay. When I did leave the hotel to eat there was a good selection within walking distance.

Staff was exellent. Everyone was very helpful. There was a problem with with the air conditioning and they fixed it immediately.

Stayed here for one night, as passing through on a road trip. Chose this hotel for the proximity so the Sierra Nevada Brewery. Check in a breeze, with a free cookie. Room clean and comfortable, may be a little dated. Big TV and even a DVD player, Fridge and free Wifi. Bed pretty comfortable, and bathroom nice. Odd room keys, but enabled access from all exits, meaning you could park car near your room, and not have to walk all the way through the front door. Small pool looked OK but didn't use. The Jacuzzi was out of action. Complimentary buffet breakfast was good, but only served til 9am on weekdays. A bit early for me.

“oxford suites close to sierra nevada brewery”

We were very surprised with the hotel & our room. It was very clean, spacious, and with nice decor. The bed and furniture were comfy. The staff were courteous, friendly, & very prompt with requests. We found the fitness room better than most hotels. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and provided a nice variety of food & beverages. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks in the eve & noted the reception food could actually serve as a meal. Our whole purpose for this trip was to visit the Sierra Nevada Brewery, which serves up a wide variety of beers & good food plus a great tour with a tasting session. The Oxford Suites more than met our needs & expectations. The walk to the brewery was less than half a mile & a very easy walk. We would definitely stay at this hotel again! The service, the comfort, the cleanliness, & the nice touches of the breakfast buffet & eve reception make it well worth the stay.

“Great hotel!”

The ONLY bad thing here is the slow elevator!!! Really needs updated somehow. Even the doors close slowly. If you're in a hurry find the stairs....although I could not tell you where they were. Otherwise, EXCELLENT hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, and comfy room!! I will continue staying here!

“Very nice grounds. Easy to get to surrounding restaurants and mall.”

Been visiting this hotel in Chico for about 20+years. Usually very nice place. Sometimes when wedding groups book the place, it gets kind of rowdy. Only minor complaint is the appetizers provided have gone down in quality and maybe in quantity. I usually visit once or twice a year. Starbucks, Togos,Baskin Robbins, Inn N Out, Applebees, and Walmart are all within walking distance. Two classes of Sierra Nevada or house wine make things even better. Elevator is the slowest west of the Pecos. Found staff to be friendly and helpful when talking to. Had good dinner at Italian Cottage a few blocks away.Still a good place after all of these years.Might be best in Chico and North State.

The room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and very good complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.... definately would return!
